just stayed there,everything is redone in granite,ceramic tile, all new beds floors, draperies. was excellent

This was one of the worst experiences of my life staying in this hotel. It looked like nothing had been cleaned in years, the carpet had obviously not been vacumed in quite some time and the bathtub had very mysterious brown rust like substance all along the bottom. The first time we tried to turn on our lights, the one in the middle of the room blew a fuse, which left us with one light for our whole trip. When we tried to open up our pull out sofa bed, it tured out it was broken and you couldn't sleep on it. When we called for someone to come and fix this problem, they simply left a folded matress on the floor with sheets thrown in a pile on it and didn't even bother to get us a cot or anything. They also advertised that with a room comes free breakfast. That is not really the case, with a room comes ONE free breakfast...a coupon for Smitty's. The sheets on all the beds had not been changed since the the occupants of the hotel had left and there were stains all over them. We also had a problem with the bathroom door, it wouldn't close...and once it did close, it woudln't open very well at all. It was also a very bad environement and neighbourhood. More than once we looked out our window to find someone staring back at us. This hotel advertises modern rooms, if your idea of a modern room is broken lamps, beds, unclean sheets, floors and bathtubs, a door that wont close and wall paper that is falling off the wall, then this is the hotel for you. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere safe.
