Nice Place
By TomM, 8/3/06
Family and I went to the falls during July/August. Stayed at Comfort Inn on Clifton Hill. Great location, decent price, smaller but comfortable rooms. Stayed at the northern branch, which tended to be noisy at night as the bands from the nearby night clubs were very loud. Great pool, nice jacuzzi. Very good continental breakfast included (try the "home made" waffles, they are great) The checkin desk is also for the adjacent Quality Inn. Similar set up, but Quality has an outdoor pool and breakfast is not included. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and it has free parking. Parking is at a premium in the area.

Great hotel and great location!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/9/06
The room was very clean and rather large, but the best thing about this hotel was it's location. We walked everywhere. It took only minutes to walk to the falls. Many good restaurants nearby. Free parking!! I would certainly stay here again. Very good experience!!

Book Here
Great Location, Reasonable Prices, Huge Parking lot that lets out by the Skylon tower too!! My family and I park at the hotel and rarely have to get back in the car again the whole time... it's truely in the middle of it all. The only set back - plan on eating breakfast elsewhere, their breakfast will hold you over until lunch but it's nothing I would call enjoyable. But I've stayed at many different hotels there over the years and once I stayed there, it's the only place I've booked ever since.

We will return
By MARCIEJ, 5/21/06
This hotel was by far one of the best for the location and price. As we walked around and looked at other hotels they seemed run down and dirty. Our hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the falls were just at the bottom of the hill within walking distance. There free breakfast was EXCELLENT everything fresh and tasted wonderful. There were resturaunts and nightclubs, shopping and attractions within walking distance. What more could you ask for.The first night there we ate at Boston Pizza i was not impressed. The second night there we ate at Big Anthonys great food at reasonable prices for a party of 4 the bill was $61.00. Over all this hotel ROCKED

Kids Running Wild!
By Lee-Ann, 3/17/06
Clean rooms, but walls are paper thin. Showers are AWFUL; you either scald yourself or freeze with the little trickle that comes out of the tap. The worst of the whole experience was the lack of cooperation from hotel services. Yes, we were prepared to see many children on our holiday seeing it was March Break;however, we were not expecting screaming children by the dozens to be running wild throughout the hallways at ALL hours of the day/night. Children playing by the pool is fine,(our daughter really enjoyed it) but when we wanted to go to our room to rest, we expected "COMFORT". Hotel services continued to pass the buck and the kids continued to run and scream wrecking havoc on our ability to rest. It feels like we never had a vacation. We will not be visiting this hotel again.

Always stay here
My family has been staying at the Comfort Inn for the past 10 years and are always pleased. The location can't be beat, breakfast is wonderful and pool is very nice. Over the years, I have arranged three bus trips to Niagara Falls for Girl Scouts, even though I am not a travel agent, and everyone has enjoyed staying at the Comfort Inn.

Great hotel and area
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/3/06
My friend and I Stayed at the Comfort Inn on the Clifton Hill back in January of 2006, I enjoyed everything about my 4 night stay, I only wish I had more time to explore the area. My only dislikes were having to hear the 20 kids that were on an ice hockey tournament during the weekend we were there, we had to hear them run up and down the corridor after asking them to be quiet through reception. Also don't be fulled when they say about internet connection, you have to pay a monthly fee unless you bring your own laptop. The free continental breakfast was more than we could have ever wished for, the quality of breakfast was excellent, all fresh, and lots to choose from and you can make yourself full for the rest of the day. Kelseys restaurant was located practically in the hotel making it a nice convenient place to eat, I even suggest trying the milkshakes, YUM! I'd walk back for one!!! The area in which it's located is the typical tourist area with all the indoor kid activity things to do. I recommend getting your hands waxed at the Ripleys Believe It Or Not Museum, not bad for the price either. We didn't have time to use the pool or any spas so they won't be rated but from what I saw the other customers were enjoying themselves. I can't wait to go back in the summer, my thumbs up to hotel staff.

Extremely Good Location and Hotel!
Our experience with the Comfort Inn on Clifton Hill has made visiting Niagara Falls much more enjoyable. Where else could you stay 1 block from the Niagara Falls brink, and pay a tonne less than the highrises. The Comfort Inn's service was second to none... We should know we have stayed at all kinds of different hotels in Niagara Falls, Canada and US. Parking is free for all hotel guests, which is a huge plus, considering there is nowhere around the actual Falls you can park for free, and the Comfort Inn lot is 1 block away! Also, children accompanied by an adult stay free at the hotel! A major bonus! We really enjoy the "free" all you can eat continental breakfast. There is a huge assortment of fresh fruit, fresh juice, bagels, muffins, coffee, tea, etc. We would fill up at breakfast and eat a light lunch, which helped us save a few bucks for a nice supper. The breakfast room is nice, overlooking the large tropical pool area. If you have any kids, like us, Clifton Hill is the perfect place for them to spend the day or night. There is some really great restaurants on site like Boston Pizza (personal favorite) and Kelsey's. Also on site, is the large Canadian Midway with a huge selection of analog games, skeet ball, shooting galleries, bowling, etc. With the money we saved, we were able to do a lot more of the major attractions, Like the Maid of the Mist, Skylon Tower, Imax Theater, Bird Aviary which is walking distance, or Marineland, 5 min drive from the hotel. We keep telling our friends and people at work to visit Niagara Falls and stay at the Comfort Inn; and most of the ones who did were extremely satisfied!
