Not as nice as it was...

This motel used to be very clean. Last time I was there, there was mildew in the bathroom and stains on the sheets. The price is great but definately not the cleanest motel as it once was. Will not be staying at the Esquire again.

Clean and very comfortable

The rates were unbelievably reasonable for being so close to downtown. By driving 10 minutes we saved about $90 compared to the downtown hotels. The rooms were very clean, the pool immaculate, and the manager Jeff and desk clerk Lois provided us with unparalelled service. I would highly recommend the Esquire Motel, plus they allow pets which is difficult to find these days

pleasant and affordable!

This place is a cheaper alternative when travelling /staying in Halifax area....especially when a short stay...like early morning flight ( 10 min. drive to airport) or medical appointment. Who wants to pay crazy hotel prices for necessity and not vacation!!!!!
