Not bad, but not great
First off, the hotel's location is great for Moncton, right downtown on Main St. The hotel is in walking distance to many restaurants, and Tim Horton's right across the street (although it closes at 6pm).
The public areas of the hotel are quite pleasant, as are the rooms. They could use a "freshening" soon, the furniture is starting to look fairly 'tired'.
I stayed on the 8th floor in the main wing and my room, while a little out-dated was fine by my standards.
The room included complimentary internet service, had a desk, couch and a few chairs. The bathroom was the only part that was somewhat disappointing. The sink and shower drained very slowly, stood in 4 inches of water when showering and for some reason the floor was always soaked when I got out. Never figured out the shower curtain malfunction.
The curtains were somewhat torn and I had to rig them up to get them back on the tracks to close them, but that's a minor detail.
I normally like to hook my laptop up to the TV to watch DVD's when I stay for long periods, but Delta has taken the time to disable the AUX inputs, making this impossible. I assume this is to encourage guests to pay for the $16 in-room movies on PPV.
In-room coffee maker, fancy soaps and shampoo, nice touches that off-set the other shortcomings.
Long story short: Average Hotel, adequate service and ammeneties, good location. Not what I would expect from Delta however.
