My son loved it. But he's 3. Pool was great for kids. We rolled in late and were just happy to have a place to sleep. However, the next morning, we looked at our feet and the soles were BLACK. The bedding obviously hand't been laundered as there was a large stiff patch of stain. Like someone had spilled sticky food or juice (I hope) The hallways smelled and the latch on my window was broken (someone could have come in in the middle of the night) There was a lot of... ummm... sketchy youth hanging around the back parking area smoking and drinking. If you aren't going to do something about it, then maybe give the lady with a small child a better place to park so she doesn't have to feel threatened walking to her room with he small child. I have plenty more complaints but i'm tired of typing. I complained about this and the lady was really snotty to me. I complained after I paid so, look lady, I'm not trying to get a discount, just letting you know your cleaning staff is horrible. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN

Room: Beds were comfy, except for the hide-a-bed which was closer to a torture device than a sleeping place. The hide-a-bed (as a couch) had some ugly stains--we had to cover it with a sheet before we'd let the kids sit on it. Noise wasn't a problem (except for the road construction and the riggers leaving the parking lot in their big diesel trucks at 6 am). Pool-The pool was the only reason we stayed two nights. Having 3 kids (5, 7, and 11), none of whom are deep-end swimmers, my wife and I found the pool to be perfect. Depth ranges from 3 to 3.5 feet. Going to the pool was actually enjoyable for us. The hot tub was fine, and the waterslide was fun for the kids. The pool was very clean. Hotel: Driving up to the hotel/motel, you would think that you stepped back in time. The exterior is drab and outdated. You will get the "Why did you pick this hotel, hon?" if you did the hotel picking. The hallways are well-traveled and stink like old cigarette smoke (and so did the area surrounding the pool room--yuck!!). You can smoke in Manitoba hotels? I'm from Saskatchewan and that's been totally outlawed. It's like "That 70's Show" right here in Brandon! Overall: If you asked whether I would stay here again, I would probably say "No." The stink and the stains would not win over the fun and clean pool. Brandon's nice, though.

The kids really enjoyed the waterslide and their slogan just ask your kids why tells it like it is. The restaurant is busy and food better than most restaurants I have been to. I would not hesitate to go back again.

Room was not at all what the website looks like. Hotel is very old and rundown. The floor of our hotel room was covered in dried gum, and the room smelled bad. I stayed there in the summer and our air conditioner was broken. The bathrooms are shabby. Our toilet was broken! They dont give you enough towels. NO pool towels. The waterslide was fun, except pool area is very dirty. Rust everywhere. Pool is extremely shallow. Not possible to swim. We were charged $80 a night. Pay the extra $10 bucks and stay somewhere nice. I made a reservation a month before we stayed at this hotel. I asked them to quote me before I got there, reasonable price at that. When we got there they didnt charge us the price I was quoted, they actually wanted us to pay an extra $20 a night. I dont recommend this hotel.

It's a good place to be! It's a very great place, clean, bright, fun, lots of things to do and see. Tons of fun for the kids. A great place for anyone but families expecially! There is fun to be had for all something for everyone! Waterslides are fun and unique. Good location close to shopping and entertainment is never far away with The 40 right next door! All good things are waiting for you!

We found somewhere else to stay, as we couldn't even walk barefoot in our room it was so dirty. My wife asked for a package of coffee, as we had none in our room and was informed that she should be charged for anymore than one coffee package. I will never stay here again and would not recomend this hotel to anyone.

This business is one of the WORST I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I booked a block of 30 rooms for my wedding guests 9 months in advance, 3 months later the hotel calls and tells me that they have given away 15 of my reserved rooms. One week after that they call me and tell me that they are taking away the other 15 rooms unless we give a 50% non-refundable deposit on the rooms. The previous agreement was that we would have 30 rooms available and could cancel up to a half month in advance without penalty. Now we are struggling to find enough rooms in Brandon for our wedding guests. So in short they recinded on a verbal agreement, treated us like second rate customers, and have placed a great amount of stress on my fiance and myself

I liked the pool and the waterslide.I am coming here today(feb3). It is awsome here.I also like the rooms because they look and smell nice.They are also clean.It is fun there.I also like the smell of the lobby

Prices have changed since Aug of 2004. New prices are still affordable at $59.95- $69.95. Wireless internet was also very helpful for my work. Friendly staff,great pool and very clean rooms are all a good combination for a great Inn.
