Vancouver Lions Gate Travelodge, North Vancouver District

Compared to the other Travelodge properties I’ve stayed at - I would consider this one as better than most. This motel is well-located to the north of Vancouver across the Lions Gate Bridge. It is only a short walk from the motel to the bus stop which runs into Vancouver and connects to all of the tourist areas like Granville Island. The Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal is a short distance north on the coast highway. The motel staff are knowledgeable of the public transportation system. The rooms were clean and not crowded. The lighting was good. There were only two pillows - could have been more for the size of the bed. The bathroom was small and only held a shower - no tub. Internet was accessible. The room had a refrigerator, alarm clock, telephone and the front desk offered a wake-up phone call. There is a Denny’s and a Vietnamese restaurant next to the property which offer a 10% discount to motel guests. We ate take-out from the Vietnamese restaurant and it was very good.
