Four Seasons - All Cold
By winglow, 1/11/07
What a wonderful hotel, great view of the city, four star accomodations too. Incredible people - no concierge floor but the whole hotel was great for walking around in the January 2007 Snow and Ice this week. I will stay there again.

Save your money!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/5/06
The location is great because it's near a mall. However, I felt that the price was too high for the size of the room. Food and service was okay - nothing to write home about.

3 Stars 4 Seasons
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/14/06
Traveled the world, stayed at many hotels including 4 Seasons and this has to be the property in most need of a renovation. Great old school hotel for folks who value a hotel by its name and reputation and are willing to overlook the needs of today's traveler. The building is in need of a facelift unless you are into late mid-century generic architecture and interior design. SERVICE if it wasn't for the great staff this would barely rank the three stars. From the front door to the desk to the back of house very friendly helpful and willing to go beyond the call of duty. Excellent. ROOM SERVICE Food quality, poor. Go out. CONNECTIVITY Beyond poor and overpriced, shameful. SECURITY BEWARE Do Not Disturb only means until 3:00PM after which they come into your room and "clean it up." They said this was for the security of their guest in case they are sick or need help. A phone call might suffice, but they didn't do that either. It's all a little dicey with a lame excuse on top of it. POOL is great, Jacuzzi mediocre and the staff extremely helpful. Vancouver is one of North America's finest cities in all four seasons, the 4 Seasons should be too. If you're coming for Vancouver 2010 set your expectations accordingly or look elsewhere.

It was the best experience ever!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/26/05
Vancouver is the most beautiful city i have ever been to everyone must go for thid special experience. The four seasons hotel is GREAT good for kids and adults the pool is beautiful and the food is probably the widest selection you have ever seen. if your in Vancouver you must visit the point Grey area it has amazing beaches and is a cute remote place. While in vancouver make sure you go to the top rated restaurant Lumeiere Rob Pheene is the chef with amazing dishes. A fun activty for the kids would be to rent a segway down at Granville island a beautful place. Vancouver is the best place in the world so far and you can trust me because i have been to every content in the world and evry province in Canada. Go To vancouver you will not regret it!

Nothing to write home about
By ashton, 10/4/05
We visited for 4 days and were competely underwhelmed by everything. Vancouver was ok but not as great as other Canadian cities we have been to. The hotel was an old 1960s version of 4 seasons we have stayed in elsewhere. While the location was good overall it was not worth the money we paid. Not particularly a kid friendly hotel or city.

I can't say enough good things!
By Liz, 9/26/05
I LOVE LOVE LOVED this hotel. It was extremely wonderful in every way. The service was great in every part of the hotel. The pool is clean and comfortable. Every room is done up nicely daily. The food at both restaurants and the bar was very good. The staff was very accomondating and will try their best to get you what you want even if it's not on the menu. The desk attendants know the city well and give excellent suggestions. They are very informed and helpful. When given directions by them we never got lost. The mall underneath the hotel is quite nice and it's wonderful to be able to take the hotel elevators to and from the mall. The art museum is just kitty corner from the hotel.

Excellent in every way!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/16/05
Our corner room on the top (28th) floor gave us a breathtaking view of the city and was immaculate and elegant. The service was impressive and the concierge staff gave us excellent meal recommendations. The gym and swimming pool were also terrific. There are few hotels that would warrant so much $$ per night's stay, but this one certainly qualifies... You absolutely will not be disappointed!

especially the so-called 'corner rooms' are unique. In general: service hardly can't be better.

Great Time
By k d, 6/2/05
This was the best hotel we had ever stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great, especially the fruit. It was the freshest we had ever had. It was very clean and comfortable, especially the pillows - which is a neccesity for us. There is a mall adjacent to the hotel. Lots of shopping. There is an indoor/outdoor pool on the 4th floor. Along with exercise equipment and a jacuzzi. You get complimentary towels and fruit. You can also order food and/or drinks in the pool area. We highly recommend this hotel and it is worth every penny!
