Double T Ranch, 100 Mile House

I have been visiting the Double T for over 40 years. I find it to be the most relaxing, laid back place I have ever stayed. It is a true rustic, old fashioned kind of place. It really hasn't changed much since I first visited with my parents when I was about 2 years old. There are structured times for great horse-back riding but otherwise you are left to your own devices. It's great for kids. When I was a kid I couldn't wait to go there! It is not a luxury spa, you must be ready for a little roughing it. The owners are always willing to help out in any way. Great fishing lakes are nearby. I have referred many people to the place and they keep going back. Great place, great value, great scenery and not far off the beaten path.

Klaus is a caring and personal gentleman. The ranch is absolutely breath taking. Remember your camera as the scenery is stunning and the wildlife is spectacular. I have been here 5 times in my life. My parents used to take me and my sister and brother here for our summer vacation. It is an amazing place to go to! Sweet little log cabins, horses roaming the entire property, a nice refreshing lake to swim, or paddle boat in. The people there were always very personable, making it a great all around experience! I cant wait to go back and take my daughter there!

This is a great place for the whole family. Very relaxed atmosphere. The cabins are rustic, so if you are looking for a place that caters to you, this isn't it. You cook your own meals on a wood stove or bring your own bbq. There is something for everyone to do. Fishing, horse-back riding, swimming, or just relax and read a book right outside your own little cabin. I have brought my sons here twice now. They all learned to ride horses here. We are going to be there this August, and we will continue to come back.

Klause peters and family run an efficient operation. The rides are on time as posted the horses good for all levels of rider.Plenty of fire wood for the cabins and main fire pit to enjoy after supper.You are allowed to be yourself and the area is large enough to be quiet or whoop it up abit. Cabins are clean though quite rustic, but isn't that why you go to a guest ranch? Overall A fine and enjoyable time run by Great people.

I've been going to the Double T since I was 2 years old. I'm now turning 22. It is by far my favorite spot and the Peters' are wonderful people. It's absolutely beautiful up there with plenty of wildlife. I clearly remember choosing a week at the ranch over a week at Disneyland at age 9 and would still make a similar choice today! *Kimiko
