6 reviews for Grant Village Hotel, Yellowstone Natl Park
beautiful location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/06/08
great little hotel with peaceful calm atmosphere, helpful stuff, delicious restaurant and super shower. the room rates were fair for the area and while it may not be as grand as other hotels in Yellowstone, it is simple, clean and comfy which is all you need after a days sightseeing/ hiking.

Highly recommended!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/06/07
We just got back from a trip to Yellowstone where we stayed at the grant hotel. I loved it there. Everything was kept meticulously clean. The staff were all friendly, polite and knowledgeable. The room itself had plenty of space..the bathroom was more than adequate. There was a coffee maker and a blow dryer. No air conditioning, but a fan was provided. We never needed to use it as it was plenty cool in our room..and downright cold at night. We could see the lake from our room, and one day had mule deer strolling through the parking lot. I highly recommend this hotel for people who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the other parts of the park. It was very peaceful and quiet.

It was very comfortable.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/13/07
The people are nice, the room was clean, front desk is open 24 hours, it's so peaceful outside. We were apprehensive after reading these reviews, but wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The Lodge is basic, but the location is wonderful, right in the pines by beautiful Yellowstone Lake (West Thumb). Nearby services are gift shops, restaurants, general store, visitor center, amphitheater & campgrounds. Room amenities include coffee pot, clothes hangers, fan, blow dryer & small chest of drawers. If you want hot tubs & TVs, stay in West Yellowstone (it's a lot like Anaheim). If you want to be near the action --wildlife, geysers, etc. -- while feeling like you're part of Nature, stay in the Park.

It is WAY too much money!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/07/06
It is too much money, It needs a WHOLE lot of improvement!! It needs a indoor pool, indoor spa, rooms with more rooms attached, like a kitchen and other bedrooms, it needs an office for guests to use, a fitness center, and it needs to get MUCH bigger!!!

Good price fair location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/12/06
Compares well to West Yellowstone establishments but the location and access to the parks features is much better. Rooms are basic but adequate as we didn't go there for the hotel.

College Dorm Comes to Mind
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/30/05
Yup, double bed, two chairs and a cube thing to use for a table. Very small bathroom. Its a room, nothing special. It reminded us of a college dorm. Did not have a TV or radio, so we found some cards to play. Unfortunately, we were in the middle of a monsoon.
