Fairview Motel, Diamondville

Never got to make a reservation. Gentleman that answered the phone was rude, short and couldn't even tell me if there would be a room available 30 days ahead. He needs to practice his "people skills" and learn to be a courteous innkeeper.

I called in and the gentleman that answered kept talking to someone on the other end of the phone for a minute without even saying hello. Sounded like a personal conversation. Then when I asked him a question he hung up on me. I called back to ask whether he was a manager or employee and his name he hung up again. Will never stay at that place.

I was surprised when the person on the other side of phone asked me to call back in the morning for a quote. It was only 9:30 p.m. and wouldn't give me a quote.

My friends and I have stayed at the Fairview Inn for several years in a row while hunting in Wyoming. The rooms are spacious, free Hawaiian coffee in the morning is a treat, and VJ is very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions. We'll be going back again this year and as long as we hunt the area.

The rooms are very spacious. The owners welcomed us as if they had known us of years. A family owned and run motel that gives you the home away from home feeling. We all felt that the hospitality shown to us when we arrived was consistent through out our stay. Our group consisted of 24 people staying for 9 nights. We barbeques twice and enjoyed the company of our new friends. We would recommend the Fairview to anyone visiting the area. We are planning another trip to the area in June 2006 and are looking forward to staying at the Fairview Motel once again. Your California Friends,
