Pioneer Resort Marina, Oshkosh

I can not believe this beautiful property is not being used. At the very least they should open up the resturant. This is a crime and the guy that bought this property should be put in jail.

Nothing! It rocked out my socks! Everything was perfect and we all had so much fun. The service was phenomenal and the workers were very polite and helpful.

This place became so dilapidated over the years, what is left of it needs to be torn down and they need to start anew. Ownership let the facility fall to the wayside, and it is too bad because I hear that it used to be such a nice place. You wouldn't know it by looking at it.

It’s a pity the disaster that befell the Pioneer Resort (closed, demolished and abandoned). It was a slightly tired hotel conference facility in need of a facelift which was demolished for some half-baked, overblown and underfinanced hare-brained condominium scheme. That the city of Oshkosh let this happen to a potential Oshkosh crown jewel is criminal and shows the incredible level of ineptitude present in Oshkosh city government. Now a fun place to party (restaurant and Tiki Bar) has turned into an overgrown pile of rubble. Obviously the current owners of the property don’t have a clue what they are doing. The planned but never to be completed condos are an idiotic scheme and a total waste of a prime piece of lakefront property.
