A nice stay, but..........
The room was perfect, the breakfast was fabulous, and the "happy hour" was a lot of fun. The problem we had was that at 2:00 in the morning a car alarm started sounding just outside our room. This lasted until 5:30, despite several calls from many people in our area. We were told that there was nothing that could be done about it as it was a rental vehicle. A suggestion to have it towed was made with no avail.
When we asked when we were checking out if there could be some kind of discount for the lack of sleep we encountered, we were not even given an apology by the staff for the inconvenience. They did give us the manager's card, and upon calling the manager, there was no resolution on this. Again, not even an apology.
So, in addition to recommending that they take license plate numbers, so they know who to contact to shut their vehicle alarms off, we also told the manager that we would NOT recommend this hotel to any of our friends, family, or acquaintences, because of the lack of compassion they afforded us.
If you use this hotel, please consider asking for a room nowhere near the parking lot (if you can find one), as they will do nothing if car alarms go off and keep you up at night.
What started out as a wonderful experience, definitely ended on a sour note.
