Never again...

...would I even go near this hotel, or even admit that I stayed there. While I will give the other reviewers credit for mentioning the friendly service, everything else was completely erroneous and likely written by staff and employees of this hotel in a desperate attempt to attract guests. First, although interesting, we witnessed a bank robbery within walking distance of the hotel. Next, we paid extra for a non-smoking room, but when we entered the room it was as though someone had just put out a cigarette. I didn't go back to ask for a new room because I figured there were no real non-smoking rooms and feared what else might lie behind another door. Every surface in the room was covered with cigarette burns, plastic and price tags were still covering lamps, disgusting, mysterious stains dripped down the walls, the bed was at least decades old, uncomfortably springy, wrapped in stained and, of course, cigarette burned sheets and blankets...I wouldn't dare lay under the covers or walk on this floor. We got up as early as possible to escape this hotel before crack seeped into our systems through the air or we got a disease. Finally, we tried using their wonderfully-acclaimed wireless, but you have to go to the desk to get a username and password...even when calling the desk from within the hotel...and this, too, is very telling. Why would someone in the hotel not be a legitimate guest whom they'd be willing to give a username and password to? Hummm....I would never ever recommend this hotel, not to anyone!
