Clover Island Inn, Kennewick

We came to this hotel specifically because there was a nice restaurant and a pool on the river. The video of the room was nowhere near what our room looked like. When I made our reservation I specifically asked about the pool and the restaurant, the reservationist knew I wanted to dine and swim. I also mentioned that it will be great to have a view of the lighted bridge at night and the lady said all rooms on the riverside have a view. We arrived on a beautiful warm sunny day....the pool is closed! I was disapointed, but thought let's go have a bite to eat and a cocktail....oh nooooo, the restaurant is closed! Now I am really upset, this is part of a very special trip for my husband and I. I come up to our tiny misrepresented room and there is no view of the bridge it is completely blocked by the way the buidling is built and the room is situated. I stopped by the desk and the, very young, lady just said "sorry".....nothing else.....no offer of anything, nothing at all.......I will never ever recommend this place nor will I ever stay here again

Oh my!! DON'T GET THE GOLF PACKAGE!! We tried that route and found out after we golfed and got home that "we were too late for the golf package"!!! So what's that all about??? When we made reservations...nothing was said!! Always nice to get home and find the "deal" has changed! Outdated motel...has lottsa possibilities but they haven't tapped into them yet!! Have a drink at the "Crows Nest" but for goodness sake...don't have the "buffet"!!! Eat somewhere else!!!

We enjoyed our stay so much that we are going to spend another weekend at the Clover Island Inn. The Breakfast wasn't much to speak of, I think it wouldn't have taken much effort to make it better but it really wasn't very good, but the area, the peaceful setting, and the staff made up for it.

I found the room just ok, I found the buildin just ok... What I found after sitting down was wonderful. We had amazing steamer clams a cold beer, views of the cable bridge the kindest staff that made our visit so good. We relaxed in your hot tub with the bridge all lit up. Our room seemed not quite so inportant as the rest of the eve was so good. Some juice in the am and off we went. We stoped for a look and stayed without any personals.

Being on business and just relaxing after a long day,this is the best.Bring your fishing gear and get ready to catch 'em all on the long dock provided.also the pool and hot tub,as well as the sauna make it the absolute heaven.Great people too.

A couple of years ago our company had a Christmas party here and also a wedding reception and booked rooms so I wouldn't have to drive after having too much bubbly. The Cedars restaurant is very nice and it is remodeled after their fire. The location is about the only thing that is a draw. It is in the older part of town and you have to know Kennewick to find it. The Marina is there too. NO PETS allowed and when I travel I always take my girls, so won't be booking there. This is a great place for a romanic memory making stay.
