Located near the Lincoln Theatre on Highway 181 and 45 miles from Bristol Motor Speedway, home of NASCAR, is the Virginia House Inn. The Smyth County Hospital, the VA Mental Health Institute and the Army Reserves are located within five miles. This is a pet friendly hotel and offers free parking and a seasonal outdoor pool. Free continental breakfast is served daily from 6 am to10 am at the El Puerto Mexican Restaurant. All rooms include free Internet access, air-conditioning, free local calls, electronic door locks, and cable TV with extra stations. Irons, boards, coffeemakers, alarm clock/radios, and smoking rooms may be available upon special request at the hotel.

Loved It!!!

This is an older hotel, but the rooms were very clean and neat. The girls that work there were very friendly and helpful. It is quiet and very welcoming. I will definatly stay there the next time I am through that way. It is also one of very few hotels left that is owned by American people. Loved It!!!!

OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND FREE BREAKFAST-REAL FOOD!

WILL BE BACK TO VISIT THE QUIET MOUNTAINS AND BEAUTIFUL LAKE AT HUNGRY MOTHER STATE PARK. FRIENDLY AND ACCOMODATING STAFF. GREAT FOR THE PRICE

Dont expect alot :(

I did not like the rooms they are old and out dated. The bathtub leaked like a fire hydrant.Poor service.The pool was dry so you had to go across the street at the different hotel to swim but dont worry it is owned by the same man.They ran out of towels and had nothing to use to shower with.Would never stay there again in my life time. I'd rather camp in a tent in the dead of winter rather than stay at the hotel....It is that bad!!!

old & musty!

The place was priced ok, but it was an old and musty hotel. I got no help from the front desk girl. She acted like I was putting her out when, I told her the remote did'nt work. missed my wake call 2 days in a row
