my stay
By nr, 10/27/08
I stayed here since I had family in town...the hotel is near a lot of things ..it is right of I-395..there is a shopping plaza rite next and across the street from the hotel...there is landmark mall like a mile down...and spring filed mall @ the next exit (south)....There are lot of places to eat/groceries stores and things across... some negatives...not all channels were on tv(missing of world series - ughh)....the breakfast is a $3.99 value - u take that to Ihop you'll get a the regular breakfast or you can pay the difference and order something...beds were a bit small...some staff some spanish...Elevator took FOREVER... free wireless...

Will never stay here again
By Kris, 06/02/07
The hotel is filthy, many broken lights inside the elevators (obviously smashed and never fixed), horrible stains on the carpets, bathroom was falling apart with rusty door frame literally crumbling, dirty and stained grout, tables in the room had something on them that left the finish coming off and sticky. We didn't want to touch anything, never mind sleep in the beds. I was uncomfortable leaving my car in the parking lot and ended up parking it under a street lamp where I could see it from my window. The only good thing I can say about the place is the staff was very friendly and accomodating.

not only are the beds infested but so is...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/09/06
not only are the beds infested with bed bugs, but the location of the hotel is located at crack cocaine central. the entire street of Oasis & South Bragg st & the neighborhood is a drug street. ask the Alexandria police to see this is a fact. The hotel is located is in a very bad area that should be avoided at all costs for nice non drug people.

It was O.K.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/25/05
Oct.2005: When I walked in, it looked like a normal hotel room. The first time I entered the bathroom, I found two different towels to have 2 different pieces hair sticking out of each towel (1 short hair: 2", 1 LONG hair: 6 to 8"). Rest of bathroom was very clean. First time I entered the bed, I found a short (2" long) between the two pillows. Found a 1/4" hair on the white bedsheet. Overall room was very clean and tidy. Restaurant girl was very natually pleasant. I WISH I KNEW BEFORE ABOUT THE BEDBUGS. As I think back, I didn't have any issues other than the hair. Pillows were nice and plush.

Find another hotel!
By joe, 06/25/05
Our room was laso infested with bedbugs and by the look of the mattress, it's been a long-term problem. One van takes passengers from both the Comfort Inn and the Quality Inn to the Metro. You may have to wait an extra 30-40 minutes as the van is often too full to take everyone wanting to go. We stayed there in May of 2005.

Will never go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/22/05
Two of the rooms we rented were infested with bed bugs. After lifting the mattresses to determine the source of the bugs, we were disgusted to see hundreds of bugs scrambling under the light.
