My wife,daughter, and 2 grandchildren stayed here 4 nights in 2 room. and we were happy with the choice. Make sure to book the oceanfront side or you may wind up across the street by the parking garage. The balcony overlooking the boardwalk/beach was nice and the restaurant/bar was a decent option. The grandchildren (3&8) enjoyed the indoor pool. I made use of the fitness center which looks out on the ocean. Room service with the maids was a bit slow in that it would take place later in the day but the rooms were clean.Area is convenient to restaurants, etc.For this week before Easter, the price was reasonable

love the ocean sounds bath room is alitel smal pool is great also ot door pool need key but just lift handel parking was alitel hard to find near beach food was grate rruntes near bye ac is good no kichenit but two beds balcany rack for towel/clothes in mornig if ocean front room you can see a sun set sun rise and a tractor cleaning the beach almost rains a litel during 1:00 to 5:00 waves are strong rental bike is avalibel to rent warm water bring useful items like beach towels umbrala and for pool flote all shops and work start at 7:00 end at ethire 5:00 to10:00but realy grate and has a parasaler near bye

THIS PLACE IS A DUMP. THEIR HEATED POOL IS COLD, THE ARCADE MACHINES ARE BROKEN, AND THE COUNTER STAFF IS RUDE. IF YOU THINK YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO CHECK IN A LITTLE EARLY FORGET ABOUT IT. THEIR CHECK IN TIME IS FOUR O' CLOCK P.M. AND I AM SITTING HERE AT FIVE WRITING THIS REVIEW ON THEIR COMPUTER, WHICH IS THE ONLY THING IN THIS HOTEL I HAVE SEEN THAT WORKS, AND I STILL DON'T HAVE A ROOM. P.S. ASK FOR A HIGHER FLOOR WHEN BOOKING BECAUSE YOU CAN'T SEE THE OCEAN FROM THE GROUND FLOOR. UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING PISSED OFF DON'T STAY HERE

I will never use this hotel again!

Worst hotel experience I have ever had. We were told that one of our rooms were ready and the other two would be ready in ten minutes. Not a problem, we decided to put all our luggage in this room and give the kids a place to settle down after the long car ride. We had a group of six adults and five kids. We arrived at the room which was a non-ocean front only to see that non-ocean front was practically in their parking garage. The keys to the room didn't work so we had to go back to the desk. We learned that they had given us the wrong room and that the other rooms were not going to be ready. As a matter of fact, according to the staff, they did not even have us registered for any other rooms. This was despite the confirmation information they mailed out. The desk staff that told us this just walked out at that point and did not return leaving a lobby full of people waiting in line and one of his co-workers crying at the desk. The manager refused to come to the front. Over an hour later, with the whole group standing on a narrow balcony with all the luggage, we finally got two rooms. We decided to make the best of this situation. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible. Rooms were dark, musty and tub had to be scrubbed to remove mildew. Hotel should be rated 1 star.

Well , I did like this hotel .. it is pretty clean. i liked it of its veiw . I think the room should have more in them like a microwave aand mabye a couch or loveseat. But overall i like best western.

Overall Not a bad palce

Over all not a bad place, I did see the rude front desk in action when I was checking in! Maid service was adequate, they were short handed and had a sign posted for help, so I must cut some slack. yes batroom was small, but it's a hotel bathroom, beds were clean so was the room. I stayed at the beachfront unit and the price I paid was worth it all day long. It is located central Atlantic ave. ALl the attractions/actions are in walking distance, the view of the beach and boardwalk were awsome. I will go back again. Is it a 5 star place? NOPE! is it worth $150 or so a night in Va.Beach? Y E S !! There were 2 adults and 2 gilrs 14yrs old. The place was quiet and safe! We never once felt any concerns. Angelo's resturant was pretty good, LIttle feet down the boardwalk had the best breakfast that you could get for $4.50 and the girls were awsome with the service!

the staff were so ready to please the quest for the linda's birthday getaway. Thanks to Katherine and the other people in the reservation office. One quest the councils complain of bedbugs in their bed.

Coupons were given for the dining room -- They did not accept them stating they were from a previous owner, but they had the name of the hotel on it. Otherwise, it was a nice hotel -- the rooms had balconies facing the beach.

Great Choice

My sister and I recently stayed 2 nights and 3 days at this hotel and it was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we were able to check in the room several hours early. Our room view was awesome on the oceanfront. Rooms very clean and nice. Beach was exceptionally clean and nice. The restaurant in the hotel was very good and especially the breakfast buffet. Would come and stay at this hotel again with absolutely no question.
