Flagship Inn, Petersburg

Stopped here while traveling to Florida. My boyfriend and I had been driving for hours and stopped here for the night. We could see the place from the highway and seemed like a decent enough place to stay. The beds were comfortable, clean, and exactly what I expected for the price. The staff was very friendly and accomodating and I left there feeling rested. I would stop here again.

The employees are very nice, not a bad place to stay at for the price they ask for. There are smoking rooms which i enjoyed and AC and heaters (thank god for the heater) the condition of the room all depends on the room you get. Some rooms smell funky but others are spotless, same with the sheets. you WILL have to ask for towels if you need any though. TV was standard cable about 70 channels which wasnt bad. theres a microwave and a fridge in each room and ashtrays. I thought it was a pretty good place to stay at, specially because theres a gas station right across. I recommend this hotel to Soldiers and their spouses who are at Fort. Lee because the base is 2 miles away so you can spend more time together.

I have stayed in room's 117 and 119. The only problem I had was the noise outside my room and calling the office it seems nothing was done. However i will stay again, hopefully this weekend Friday thru Sunday for the NHRA event.

the owners we very nice and understanding to our needs, the rooms were very clean, and our group rate could not be beat, the hotel sit in a nice quiet spot right off the highway. i will stay there again!!!
