look for another hotel
By Kelly, 6/26/06
This was by far the worst place we have ever stayed at. It was run down and dirty. Hotel staffers parting in the parking lot outside our room until late at night. We called the front desk three times to ask them to keep it down. The breakfast was a joke - no bowls for cereal, juice machine was broken and the only think I felt safe eating was toast!

Dirty,dirty,dirty
By Neil, 6/14/05
Stayed here in January for a youth hockey tournament. My 1st room had no heat. 2nd room's tub would not stop running. Several rooms were vacant and stripped of furniture. The mold had made the rooms unlivable. Not all rooms have the same cable channels....with no good explaination. STAY AWAY until bull-dozed and rebuilt!!

It doesn't get much worse than this!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/29/05
This place was horrible.Rooms and halls were dingy and dirty.Cobwebs and mold in pool area. Pump and filters at pool were inoperable. Water in the pool was so merky you couldn't see the pool floor, however pool was still in use. There was no hot water. We later learned there hadn't been any for at least 3 wks! There was an unpleasant odor throughout the building and mold was growing on walls! Food for breakfast was improperly stored in a dirty storage room! This place needs a total restoration....it doesn't get much worse than this!!!!

Better choices available
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/26/05
When I travel for work, I just need a clean and quiet place to spend the night. This hotel was not a good value. This could be a good place for families with young children, but lack of upkeep is evident throughout the property. Customer service is poor - I had contact with 4 employees during my one night stay and all appeared to be disinterested and pre-occupied. The fitness "center" was poorly equipped and the treadmill was out of order. The "security" entrance at the side of the hotel didn't latch as it closed. The continental breakfast was not set up at 7am as scheduled (the help didn't show up, I was told). The 2 story hotel has rooms situated around an indoor pool and recreation area with ping pong table, pool table, video games, air hockey, putting green, etc. It's a nice setup with the inside rooms opening to the central courtyard via sliding glass doors (unless the noise of kid activities bothers you). I think the indoor pool is the source of a kind of humid/chlorine smell in the hallways. My outside room (looking out to the parking lot) was quiet, as the hotel is off the main road and sufficiently distant from the interstate. I will choose a different place on my next visit.
