unsafe pannels in the floor under the rug from room to room drug and hookers all around

The last person to review this motel said that 5 years ago it was cute and clean and he/she wondered what had happened. I can tell you what happened. We sold our motel. We ran it 37 years and even though it was old we kept it "cute and clean".Notice the first review with title of "Feels like coming home". That is when we owned it. All the other reviews are from when the new owners took over. It makes me sad.

stinky, filthy beds, broken windows,was far less than ok staying there. stayed here about five years ago and it was cute and clean, I dont know what happened but wow! way down hill!

When we arrived there was a rude lady in the office and she was very unpersonable. The room was filthy and smelled like someone had just smoked in it, and it was a nonsmoking room. Non of the decore matched and their were dead bugs in almost every corner of the room. We had to get a refund and go elsewhere. It looked like a gang hangout and prostitutes running free. We were even approached by someone wanting to barrow money. It was a scary situation.

Made reservations to stay. Upon arriving, the place looked as though it was an unsafe place to spend the night. Broken windows, blankets used as drapes, broken glass in parking area and people fixing their cars. This place appears to more of a low income apartment complex, than a motel. We cancelled out reservations and went somewhere else. Years ago this was a nice picturesque place to stay. Today it isn't a place you want to spend the night...unless you had to.
