Bowen Motel, Moab

We stayed there the last week of September 2009. The room was clean enough, shower head good, and decent bed: about all you really need. Internet worked and the pool was open. The only "negative" was the continental breakfast - it had no fresh fruit and you eat in your room our outside (not an option since the morning temps were low 50s).

We made a reservation for a room, but when we arrived they gave it to someone else. They were very helpful and gave us a room with a Kitchen for half the price. They admitted to making a mistake and took care of me and my family. The Owner was very apologetic and to me you always put people before a penny. We will be seeing you again soon!

We made reservations 8 months prior to our visit and used a Good Credit card. The owner gave up our 2 rooms at 8 pm Saturday night as demand was high due to an all day rain. This was after we called mid day to confirm once again. He said the credit card was bad - We used it for the entire vacation with no problem. Bowen just saw a chance to get a higher rate and went for it. This small hotel is not a respectable business.

very friendly nice place

I stay there a few times a month during the summer and the desk clerks are always friendly and helpful. The rooms I have stayed in have always been clean and comfortable. I especially like the fact they have wireless internet so I can get online with my laptop.

We have been coming to Moab for the safari for 24 years. We have stayed at the Bowen every year. The people who run the motel have always been very accomidating and friendly. It is one of the smaller places to stay which means less parking lot noice. The location is perfect. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. We recommend the place to anyone passing through.
