Just a facade
At first glance, the rooms appear grand. But, on closer inspection, they're not so nice. My own bathroom smelled like old men, and there were black spores so large in one corner of the tub, I could count them. The tub's tiles were coming loose (it was in desperate need of re-grouting), and it also would not drain, which makes showering a rather uncomfortable and creepy experience.
The sheet on the bed was not fitted, so by 2:00 a.m., it had bunched up on one side, the mattress exposed. Can't help it, really, since you toss and turn because the air conditioner won't go low enough to keep you comfortable at night.
They charge an arm and a leg for everything, including wireless access, which less expensive hotels provide for free. They mark up prices to a hysterical degree ($100 for a bottle of JD???) - not that I bought any.
And the work-out room consists of two sled machines, which are always occupied, one exercise bicycle and a few tread mills. No weight machine, much less rack of weights.
I am so disappointed. This hotel is nothing but an expensive facade over a hotel that needs a lot of re-constructive TLC.
