Great for the price
Austin hotels are very expensive, for the price you get a hot breakfast and a decent comfortable bed. overall id say i will come back any time i stay in austin.

Never stay here--PLEASE!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/20/06
Walked in and the room smelled like urine, and was very musty smelling--the entire room, not just the bathroom. Our room keys kept getting deactivated, and after staying there 3 nights, every night we had to go downstairs to the desk to get them reactivated. We saw roaches 2 separate nights, and when we complained to the desk, they didn't seem to care. We asked to speak to the manager and were told we couldn't, although he lives on-site. The employees entered our room even after we told them, twice, that we didn't want service. Our last night there, we came back to find the bathroom floor covered in soem liquid, along with the toilet seat. When we called the manager's room, he told us he didn't care. Never stay here, please take my recommendation.

Poor Quality & Unsafe
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/17/06
When I walked into this hotel I should have immediately turned around and walked out. The second floor hallway felt as if it was unstable and you would fall through. The parking lot has cameras all around the building but I still felt uneasy. The A/C was off when we entered the room so it was hot and smelled musty. The bed was hard and sheets were stiff. Only two sets of paper thin towels were in the bathroom.

Quality at a fair price
By Abel, 1/9/06
I enjoyed the extra service, especially at Breakfast with the homemade waffles, great breakfast. When I needed something, the staff was very helpful and cheerful about it.

Bad Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/05
We stayed in this hotel on October 15, 2005. The hotel was smoke filled, the lobby and all floors. We were given a smoking room, we had requested a non-smoking. The room had less smoke than the lobby and halls. Our car was broken into that night, I do know this is not the hotels problem, but mine. My complant is that the desk person on the morning of the 15th said he did not know how to reach the police department, only to call 911, after complaining he did give me a phone book so I could look up the number (311) to call. I would like the desk person to give a little more help to the guest that have be robbed.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
By william, 7/11/05
Where should I start??? Maybe with the misreported rates?, Maybe the Black Mold on the air vents? The peeling paint? baseboards coming off, 10 layers of paint-overs....tiny 17in TV's...The "hot breakfast"(quoted as the "BEST hot breakfast in town") that consisted of powdered scrambled eggs, with cheap(small) sausage bisquits, stale raisin bran, only beverage was coffee, the several day old pastrys from Sams??? Or maybe the room doors that do not lock??? How about the fire extinquishers that were out of date? Paper thin walls(all the better to catch whats going on in the next room)......I really don't know where to start, other than to tell others to avoid this place....on either side on this "fine" establishment are 2 nice hotels, $10-15 a night cheaper, and with a real restuarant on site! I am usually not that picky about a place, just to flop for the night, but this was a really horrible place. Pay no attention to there quoted rates online(not to mention Austins room and board tourist tax). We were actually charged $69.95 a night for 2 persons, 2 double beds!!! For this dump? Come on now....No don't come, leave quickly!!!

Excellent
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/20/05
This motel had an exceptional breakfast. You do not expect a breakfast like theirs unless you are staying at a Hilton or Mariott. They served waffles, eggs, sausage biscuits along with many other things. It is mostly run by family so they know how to treat a guest. The price was very reasonable, although the rooms were not that big (being in a big city, I'm sure most aren't). I would recommend this place to anyone.
