Soul-less Food

Believe all the bad reviews on the food, unbelievably it really is that bad!
Went to the stagecoach inn for my Father in Law's birthday. After reading the bad reviews on the food, when the waitress listed off the menu (there are no written menu's, so a quick monotone recital is all the meal planning you get) I ordered what I thought was the safest, the Rib-Eye steak.
The hush-puppies were ok at best and the salad was wilted day old lettuce with industrial grade dressing.
When the "entree" came, you could see from 10 feet away the broccoli was overboiled mush. The mashed potato's were straight out of a box and stone cold. The Rib-Eye, (one thing no chef worth their pay could possibly mess up) was a flavorless, soul-less, cold and dried out piece of mystery meat. I couldn't identify it as even being a Rib-Eye. The only way the steak could have been this bad is their "chef" took a freezer-burned, still frozen piece of meat and slapped it on a grill. Add a little salt and pepper, and voila!
The dessert choice was another "no brainer", peach cobbler. I've never had peach cobbler that was sour! The crust was soggy and tasted old. The ice cream was probably store brand/generic.
Stagecoach Inn makes Luby's look like a 5 star gourmet experience. Avoid at all costs!
I only gave it the one star rating because the site wouldn't let me leave a no star rating.
