Holiday Inn At The Falls, Wichita Falls

I am very impressed with the level of service at this Holiday Inn. I already told the concierge that the hotel was providing excellent service, but I also wanted to share it here because I had such a great experience! First, the front desk employees were very welcoming and courteous. Second, the room was very clean and had a very comfortable bed. Finally, I was most impressed with the importance the concierge placed on customer satisfaction. I saw the concierge ask the hotel patrons how their stay was, if they needed anything, etc. I requested a shuttle ride to the nearest winery, and he made sure that I received a ride there and back. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back to this holiday inn and will recommend it to my friends.

We booked 27 rooms for family coming in for a funeral. The staff was unbelievably accomodating! The rooms were beautiful and clean, the beds comfortable, and the lobby area, where we spent a lot of time gathered as a family was comfortable and inviting. The restaurant agreed to open early to provide our meal for all the family following the funeral service and the wait staff was extremely gracious in handling such a large crowd with many different needs! I highly recommend this hotel!

The service was bad, the rooms filthy, smelled like mold or something. I was very displeased with the experience. Whoever manages this place should be let go. I don't even know how you manage to stay in business? I certainly would not recommend this place to anyone.

Our experience with the Holiday Inn in Wichita started out just fine. We booked the reservations on Orbitz and arrived to find a clean and rather convienantly located hotel. The experience there was average, until we checked out and they billed us TWICE. After realizing the mistake when we arrived home, we called them to correct it and get the extra charge refunded on our credit card. This should have been a simple process, however, this hotel is not staffed with competant people. We were given the run around more times then you can imagine. Excuse after excuse was heard about why the manager who could credit our account was not around even though we called several different times a day during a 3 week period!!!!! We finally got this mysterious manager who LIED to us and said he credited the account. Several days later it still hadn't shown up, and after talking to the bank, it was clear that HOLIDAY INN HAD NOT CREDITED OUR ACCOUNT. Trying to get a simple mistake fixed turned out to be a nightmare. I would not reccomend this hotel to even my worst enemy!!

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and have experienced some problems. This time we stayed for one week and there were no problems. Now that the hotel has new owners and has been renovated--it is 100% better! The room was large and clean and the front desk employees were very helpful. We ordered room service and the food was wonderful! I loved having the pool and workout facilities there for my use. The workout equipment was very nice. I definitely reccomend this hotel to anyone looking for a full service room in Wichita Falls.

We made our reservations in Janurary to say in June. We called a couple of weeks before to confirm our reservations and they were messed up. Go things straightened out. When we arrived, they never fixed the reservations correctly. Floors gross everywhere, shower knob fell off while taking shower, they would not fix it. Only two lights worked in our room. Front desk employees not helpful at all. Stayed here for five days and they would not let us check out 1hr late. We would have checked out to another hotel, but all in town were book due to big golf tournament. Air conditioners in lobbies and hallways did not work. Hot tub does not work. Way too much chlorine in the pool everyday. Elevators not working properly. No one could answer questions after regular hours, always had to wait till the next day. Sheets on beds not changed during the week at all!! Always had to ask for towels. It is called "THE INN" now and will be changing to a "HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS" in the future. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Horrible place to stay! Front desk employee on Sunday night was absolutely rude. She did not answer questions regarding payment and my card was billed three times by mistake! AC was broken in hall way... hot tub was out of order... ice machine was broken... Not a good experience!
