A nice stay!

This motel is a great value for the money and we really enjoyed our stay here. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is great with plenty of choices including scrambled eggs and bacon and my wife and son enjoyed the pool at the end of a hot August day. The rooms are a little small but they are as neat as a pin and it's obvious the whole facility is very well maintained. It's hard to believe it dates from the late 1960's. If we're visiting Dallas again anytime soon we will be glad to stay here again.

I'll use this hotel again & again

I left several articles of clothing. When I called, housekeeping had turned my things in to the office. I contacted FedEx who picked my things up & had them shipped backed to me. The room was very comfortable & well equiped. The location was just great, right near the Cotton Bowl & right on 45. I will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dallas.

Multiple stays....

We have stayed here several times, to go to concerts at the Smirnoff, and have always had a good experience. The rooms are reasonable, clean, and the BuzzBrew cafe on grounds is a major plus, we just love dining there!

Would not recommend

First of all the web site is a complete lie it is no where near as large as the site makes it seem nor as elegant. The bottom portion of the tub was fade beyond belief with black stains. The sofa had stains on it most of the lighting did not work. The paint job looked to be done by a 5 year old. We had to move the sofa in order to watch television where we found drug baggies under the sofa along with some trash which told us no one had cleaned under there in a long while. However the maid service was exceptional they were very polite and eager to please. For $189.00 a night I look for someone to assist me with my luggage which did not happen. The front desk clerks never smiled once. As for location it is in a very good location close to almost everything. I travel to Dallas a lot and I will not be staying there again.

Great Motel Great Price

While my husband was taking treatments at Baylor University Hospital, we stayed here two separate times. Both times were very satisfactory. We plan to stay here again this weekend while visiting Dallas.

Multiple visits prove value!

We have stayed at the Best Western City Place multiple times in the last 2 months. A great value and a pleasure. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and pleasant. The location was very convenient to the Baylor Medical Center, shopping, eating, etc. Microwave, small refrigerator/freezer, coffeemaker, hair dryer all provided in room. Great room rates. Have discounted rates for over age 55 and for families of Baylor Medical Center patients. Nice sized pool available and free continental breakfast each morning. No problems at all and plan to stay there in the future.

I work with a band and we have been here several times. The price is great for musicians on a budget! We usually get 3 rooms and they give us a break in the price. It's close to the venue and the showers seem to be a high point for the guys. Nice marble walls and good water pressure.

bargain in downtown Dallas

The room was clean, reasonably quiet,and well- maintained. I walked 3 blocks to my conference at CityPlace, and paid less than one third the rate of the swankiest hotels.
