Boy, what a MESS !!!
By Glenn, 09/23/09
11 family members stayed ther on Sept. 19,20 & 21st for my sister's funeral, I had called and made reservations and got a great rate of $59.00 per night for (4) rooms, when we checked in the rate was $99.00, after 45 Min. and 2 or 3 calls, we got them for $59.00. . . . the parking lot was almost empty....plenty of rooms?? I askef for a King bed, was told they were all gone....only 2 queens i each room....out air did not work that night, asked the next morning for a different room, was told sire no problem, how about a king instead of 2 queens, since we have plenty of kings avaiable ??? The hot tub was cold was told it had been cleaned, took 2 days to get up to 100deg. No wake up calls....on the second day rooms were not made up by 8:30PM, called the office, no one would pick up phone, my son in-law went to lobby....no one there, went out front door the clerk was out smoking, got clean towels, made our beds. Last night comode stoped up, went lobby for plunger....did not work, used bathroom in lobby that night. We checked out the morning of the 22nd. . . . SORRY FOR THE PROBLEMS.....THAT will be last time we stay there . Glenn & Family all 11 of us P.S. the breakfast was nothing to talk about !!!!

pass this one up
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/22/08
Besides the bugs, the room smelled musty. The beds were very uncomfortable, blankets on beds were stained, air conditioner did not keep consistant room temp. The pool chemicals were not correct, and our kids came out of the pool splotchy, itchy, and had horrible burning eyes. Unless you are on a super limited budget, I would pass up staying at this hotel. On a positive note, the staff was extremely friendly.

has wireless now
By tjmb, 05/22/07
my mother in the hospital right across the street...and it's clean enough. they have wireless, which is the second reason I stayed here, apart from the fact that I could be close to my mother while she was here. clean, staff was reasonably nice, had a fridge and microwave. I'd stay here again...but hope I never have to again.

Room 153
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/06/06
We've stayed in this hotel a few times in the past with a decent experience. Our last visit was disturbing. The room obviously needed some work, including a bathtub faucet that didn't just drip, it ran with a steady annoying flow. Keeping the bathroom door closed to drown out the sound was almost impossible as the door was damaged and would not shut properly. The shower wasn't working. The light over the vanity was burned out. The front door was also damaged and had to be forced shut in order to lock it. The walls had graffitti and damage. Finally, there was a problem with roaches in the bathroom due to the humidity and moisture. We would have complained and moved to another room. However, by the time we returned to our room, it was late and we both just needed rest. The bed was fine.
