Front desk a little slow at check in but the restaurant more than made up for it the next morning. Service in the restaurant was great and buffet food was hot and delicious.

Please give my hotel stay points to my

I, Haeryun K. Tatum stayed at your hotel from 28Mar2009 to 04Apr2009, I believe, total 7nights (total3500points?). I asked your staff to put all points of nights I stay to the United Mileage Plus when I checked. Staff only added/gave one night stay on 4Apr. Add rest of my stay/points to United ASAP please, and let me know. Thank you.

Will NEVER stay here again!

On the downside: We could have stayed at the Motel 6 and saved a bunch of money. The Doubletree was very disappointing as far as amenities go. The rooms were absolutely no better than a Holiday Inn or a Days Inn. Room service got our orders wrong and didn't correct it. On a positive note: The staff were as nice as I have ever met anywhere.

Courteous personnel

Stayed over during Memorial Day & every employee was very courteous.We could not fully shut off the shower & it was fixed promptly by the following day.The maid service was also excellent & the free shuttle service which is on demand to the airport was a godsend cause Highway 410 which is adjacent to the hotel was being renovated and yes I would stay at Doubletree again.

Disappointed can't trust their Housekeeping staff

I was really disappointed in the lack of trust in the housekeeping staff. I left my dress hanging in the closet and I never got it back. I realized I had left my dress only hours after we checked out. The lack of concern from the hotel management was even worse. They really didn't seem to care. This place was such a disappointment.

don't want a repeat performance

We visited the Doubletree in late June - this was the first & hope the last time we stay at this hotel. The room rates were way too much for what we had; we paid for the name "Hilton" that weekend. When we tried to check in at 3pm our room wasn't ready & we weren't the only ones in the lobby waiting to check in. Lots of tempers were flaring. Our room was finally ready around 4pm. It was way to noisy in the courtyard for late at night when some of us were trying to sleep. Staff wasn't all that friendly. All in all, the building is beautiful & wish the service matched the hotel. We will continue to stay at the Drury down the street, we know we will get good service there.

We got a deal for this hotel from Priceline so paid $75 for our rooms (booked two rooms). When we checked in the lady at the counter said: i) we could not get adjacent rooms; ii) we could only get rooms on the first floor; iii) we had to wait 15 minutes for our rooms because they has to be cleaned; because we got the deal from Priceline. Anyways. The rooms on the first were very noisy. The washroom basin was precariously hanging from the wall. The clock on the side table was behind the table. on the whole not what one would expect from a three star.

Staying there in July 05

I love the fact that it was close to the airport. The room location was great. I like that you can enter your room from the balcony or the hallway. You dont feel confined like other hotels. I will surely be there in July 2005.

Consistently Pleasant Stays

The Doubletree in San Antonio is like an oasis in the middle of a busy city. It is close to shopping at Northstar mall, near restaurants and activities. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and beautiful. I have the privilege of returning once a year for an annual work training and it is always much aniticipated. Their restaurant offers a great lunch buffet each day also that is a great meal for a reasonable price.
