Had a great room and the view outside was spectacular! The desk made us feel welcome and we talked to them everytime we left the hotel. Only thing i would suggest is booking this at SweetHotelDeals. Net

This is the old Texas Hotel across from the convention center. Rooms are pretty standard generic hotel fare. Staff is badly lacking in manners, training, and English skills. Tried to find information about other Hilton properties and it was like talking to zombies. And this was the desk not the maid staff.

The rooms were nice enough, but the floor boards were coming loose, the bathroom vent fan did not work and the silverware/plates in the breakfast buffet were dirty. Added to that the food in the buffet was dry and cold. The hot water pressure was very low as it took 10 minutes to fill the bathtub. We reported the fan and low water pressure 2xs, were told it would be repaired that day but needless to say it was not. You pay for the internet access, in this time of free wifi in most places. Much money for little satisfaction. We will go to holiday inn next time.

We were pleased to book the hotel through a third party and get a good rate but then we think we found out why....drain in sink didn't drain,toilet leaked water on floor...and then the Piece de resistance...when we got up Monday morning there was NO HOT WATER IN THE HOTEL FOR THREE HOURS!!! ouch...try getting three teenage girls ready with no hot water...Needless to say we were late getting going...Staff nice overall but not really very concerned under the circumstances....

I stayed there two night and they ran my credit card for 3 nights. I call the front office to tell the mager. she wasn;t there so a left a voice mail about like 20 voice mailand i never never never got a call back .

i stayed there for 2 nights and found the staff both helpful and friendly. i'm from ireland and the staff helped me find places i wanted to see as i'd been in fort worth 15years ago and wanted to re visited some of the places i'd been. the room was lovely very comfortable and clean. i would stay there again i enjoyed it.

I made my reservation five months in advance and was confirmed that I had two double beds. I called and confirmed several times to make sure we still had our doubles. We have four children and when we went to check in they put us in a king. They told me that they never promised me doubles. They told me my kids would have to sleep on the floor. It was late, the hotels around were full and we had to stay because we booked thru the Internet and I would loose my advance payment. During the first night my son woke up sreaming due to roaches crawling on him as well as ants. The a/c didn't work well and the tv reception was horrible. I called the front desk FIVE times and I was told they couldn't move me and there was nothing they could do. I will NEVER go back to this hotel and I will tell EVERYONE about this horrible experience.

We just stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We found the staff to be very helpful. The room was nicely decorated and you could tell it had been renovated. The room was large and it was nice having a sofa in the room. However, we did have two problems. We had hot water in the shower; but, the water pressure was lousy. We were told that it was a city problem. And, for two days there was only 1 elevator serving the entire hotel. Not a good thing, when there were two conferences staying at the hotel and one of the groups had over 200 senior citizens! Maybe, they had to wait for an elevator part?!?!? I would stay there again; but, they should get their act together on the water pressure and the elevators. I would have given it a higher rating if it wouldn't have been for these two things.

The front desk was uniformed about a major telvised event 2 blocks from them. Expess service was made less express by non exprss guest being in the special line for express guest and the front desk person answering the phones (no one else did but her). Part of express is asking for internet available room, no cables were in the room and at 5:30 AM I was told I would have to come down to the front desk to get them. I had to call three times to get a bell hop. Because the room was comfortable and the hotel very nice and all went well with Banquets I gave it an average. Poor service, nice rooms.

Awful, disgaceful, couldn't wait to get home. Any request was denied or laughted at. The staff themselves agreed it was a "dump". My car was lost for 2 hours by vallet parking. Finally it showed up but the keys were gone forever and nobody cared. I waited for the manager for 1 hour and finally gave up. It was like get the heck out of here before more can go wrong.
