Family & I drove 2 long days from South Carolina for a funeral. Yes, we needed a good bed in a quiet room, and no hassle of any kind. Boy-Howdy! Did we get it! Didn't want to drive to eat when we arrived Sunday evening; lovely desk clerk recommended cozy authentic Mexican place ("walk around the fence") 1/2 block away. Excellent. Clean & plenty of towels supplied. The staff was very understanding and friendly with the children. We've stayed in many hotels but we finally understand what "home away from home' mean.
I stayed here for one night and wasn't around that much - I checked in late and had to leave early. All I wanted was a clean room to sleep in. I was pretty disappointed by the accomodations. The comforter and bed sheets had a small hole in them, like a cigarette burned through (although there weren't burn stains), the chair & footrest were stained from something that had spilled and soaked in, and the room was generally outdated. I'd probably stay here again under the same circumstances - traveling alone and need a place to sleep for the night - but I'll look around first next time.
this is a very clean place. and a very good price. i think a breacfast is the only thing missing.its a family owned place and we liked that.its a all around good value thank you.and i would recomend it to others and i will stay again
