Days Inn Pigeon Forge, Pigeon Forge

I booked this hotel for my 5th anniversary. We got to the hotel and the people at the front desk weren't very informative about the hotel. Then we checked in the room and it was supposed to be newly remodeled, it wasn't. The bathroom was nasty. There was hairs in the tub and I'm not talking about the ones you have on top! The tub and sink hadn't been cleaned. The fan in the ceiling didn't have anything covering the light bulb. I know when I go to a hotel I really look forward to being shocked, while I'm taking a shower. The bathroom door had mildew all over it. The sheets on the bed had a blood stain on it and something else. The carpet had stains all over it. We decide to go somewhere else the next day. When we came back to get our stuff they hadn't even cleaned the room, they picked up the towels and spray some really bad air freshener. You get what you pay for. We have made new reservations at the Holiday Inn and it is so much better. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Well the carpet in the room was so dirty that when we would come out of the shower and walk across the floor our feet would be dirty like we was out side for ever just walking around.And when I went to tell them about it the old man was like sorry and i said is that all you have to say is sorry.I will not be going back to that hotel again it was dirty i was afraid to sleep under the covers so i slept on top of the covers.the only thing i can say is that it was in the middle of everthing. we stayed in gastinburg last year and the hotel was so nice but we wonted to be in the middle of the town we bought a time share so we wont be staying here anymore thank god dirty dirty floors

We have stayed at this motel for many years when we go to an annual car show. The staff is super. They have always looked out for us and been very accommodating to our needs. There have been many upgrades done recently which makes it even nicer. Very convenient for walking to lots of things. Many good restaurants within walking distance. We stay here each time we go to the Pigeon Forge area.

You have to keep in mind what you are paying for your room. I stayed before I got married, and for the price, it's ok, as long as you're not there to spend time in the room. After all, it is a tourist trap. For the way Feather keeps house, this place is a palace. If you want luxury, pay 180 dollars a night at Best Western like I did. This is NOT a romantic get-away. It is perfect for internet hook-ups and one night stands. Or just if you're pinching pennies so you can go to Dollywood!

The staffs there are rude and have a smart attitude. We reserved rooms online for 42.50 a night and when we got there they told us that they wouldn't accept them. So they were going to charge us 70 bucks a night. I wanted to see what the rooms where like before we got one. They were dirty and the man and woman working there got really smart with us when we refused to rent a room. Never have I experienced service like this before.

Sorry service and a dump. Rude, very rude people!!!! Don't ever think about going here. I would have been happier in a jail!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has to be the worst managed hotel I have ever stayed in to date. The beds were horrible, completely sunken in the middle. The bedspreads were itchy, the room smelled horrible, and the air conditioner must've been the original when built. The bathroom was the smallest I've ever seen. You could shower and sit on the toilet at the same time! No kidding! The carpets were stained and that alone made me wonder if there was a crime scene we walked into. To top it all of, the second day there, we came back to the room after a day at Dollywood wanting to take showers. It was around 5pm. Guess what? NO HOT WATER! Called room service to report the problem and everyone else was calling with the same situation. We were told they were working on it. 11pm, no hot water, 7am the next day, no hot water. Calling room service again, "we're working on it". Finally we decided to leave and apparently so did everyone else at the hotel. We happened to meet a plumber in the elevator. He was JUST called in at 10am!! He said, "If you knew management, you'd understand why I'm just getting here". NEVER NEVER again will I put my family through this.

This place is a good recommendation, clean, and close to a lot of things, a pancake house is located on the premises. They are very accomadating.

The attitudes at the front desk were awful. The lady that works at the front desk needs a personality. We had reserved six rooms for a wedding at the bride and groom checked out of there room and a another couple with us was going to take there room and the lady at the front desk came up to there room and was very rude. Then I went down to the office and the time I walked in the door she was nasty with me. The owner of the motel called my room and apologized and she was a supervisor. I told her we were the guest and not this lady. This lady does not know how to talk to the public. Friday night when we checked in the man at the front desk was friendly. I do not recommend this motel to any one the bathroom is very small. There are no ammenties in the room or at the motel other than a outside pool that is not heated.

Location was only good topic that could be written about this location. We visited Middle March 2006 and had requested and need to say non busy time was noted they stated they do not have handicapped smoking rooms one or the other that no other place has them type rooms either yet, after the police was called on us due to they refused to credit my credit card of money since they had scheduled us for in advance and then refused to honor what was scheduled in timely manner. Police had to make the foreigner manager contact and remit credit to my credit card company. NEVER AGAIN since this is private own organization Days Inn had trouble in Tunica Mississippi year before, will never place arrangements and I travel 5-7 times yearly will never use Days Inn again.
