Bed Bugs!!
By ,
This was a very nice looking hotel. However, the day after we left this hotel, my finace and I had bites all over our legs and arms. After doing research, they looked exactly like bed bug bites. I immediately thought I had them at home, so we called an exterminator. Thankfully, our home did not have bedbugs. However, my doctor said that the bites on our arms and legs were bed bug bites. This hotel is the only other place we stayed overnight in the past year. I called the manager of this hotel, and left a message. I was not asking for anything. I just wanted them to be aware of what happened with us. We did not even receive a call back from him, which leads me to believe that they really are not concerned!

Old and outdated
By ,
The Hotels AC does not work will, my tube do not drain fast. I had to put something under the stopper to help the water drain. The Hotel looks like it had never had a update in 20 years or more.

Poor example of an Embassy Suites Hotel
By ,
I frequently stay at Embassy Suites properties, but this location is not up to par for this franchise. Minor issues would include broken electrical sockets door handles coming out of door, etc. . I loved the breakfast!!!! and the manager in the Kitchen, Marvin made my stay enjoyable. He was so friendly, and nice and l left the table full and ready to start the day. The rooms/carpets didn't look clean. The furniture was outdated and the bathroom didn't look clean. I wore my shoes in the room as the carpet has multiple stains and did not appear very clean. However, my main issue is that the property is under construction. The roof an potentially the plumbing is being repaired. We were booked on the 9th (top) floor and had the distinct pleasure of being awakened at 6:30a to the noise of workmen on the roof dragging and dropping items on our ceiling. Also, their porta-john was located directly over our room which just added to the early moning noise. Throughout the day the workmen could be heard banging on the ceiling and pipes. Asked the GM why Hilton would knowingly subject their guests to this level of disturbance by placing them on the 9th floor where the constructiion is taking place, recived a lot of excuses but no explanations. Would reccomend staying at another ES hotel in the Nashville area until construction is completed at this facility.

Avoid - Anything else would be better
By ,
Roach in coffee maker! Mold on shower curtain and in bathroom. Dust and dirt on phone and shelves and lamps. Not sure if the linens on the pull-out were clean. Couch looked like it was picked up off the side of the road. Wallpaper and paint peeling. Need more reasons to avoid? Loud - could hear everyone in the hall, the ding of the elevator, the plumbing in the next rooms screeched. Breakfast was cold. Indoor pool was ice cold and hot tub water was murky. Staff rude. Housekeeping knocked on our door three different times the morning we were to check out. I told her we were checking out later, but she kept coming back, rushing us when we had several hours before we had to be out. We have stayed at several Embassy Suites in many states. This was the worst. Economy motels are better than this.

Not a Rave Review
By ,
I liked the decor in the lobby and hearing the birds; it was calming especially since we arrived late. I loved the breakfast!!!! and the manager in the Kitchen, Marvin made my stay enjoyable. He was so friendly, and nice and l left the table full and ready to start the day. I didn't that some of the plugs didn't work properly because you couldn't fit your plug in the socket without it falling out. The tv in the bedroom didn't work but they came and fixed it. The rooms/carpets didn't look modern and clean. The furniture was outdated and the bathroom didn't look clean. I wore my shoes or socks because I didn't want to touch the carpet or floor. Finally, other than the staff member who fed me and the nice lady at the front desk who typed and printed directions for us to get to a Hooters to finsh watching Game 5 of the NBA finals. The 1st shift Front Desk Staff wasn't friendly or approachable. On our checkout I wanted to purchase some gifts from the gift shop. I went to my room to get money and upon returning there was a sign on the door saying he'd be back in fifteen minutes. After about 10 min I went to the Front Desk to inquire about the gift shop and was told that the store down the street has some and that they have no control over the shop.

Holiday Inn Would Be Better
By ,
My husband had been out of town for a week and this was sussoped to be a treat for us and the kids to relax with him after his late flight in rather than driving the two hours home. Instead we found a dirty pool and hot tub, a room showing more than a small amount of wear, and hard beds and flat pillows. I had prepaid the room when I booked it but since I was using a debit card they still put a fifty dollar holding fee on my account, I guess in case I made off with one of their pancake pillows; they said it should be gone after a few days or to call back- I most assuradly will. If you are concidering the room for the "worl reknown" breakfast do your self a favor- choose a less expensive hotel and go to Shoney's. The eggs were greasy and over cooked, the bacon was burned, and the over all quality sub-par. I wish I had stay at Holiday Inn and saved myself some money; I recomend you do.

mediocre

The staff at the front desk is not the friendiest around. The gentleman who checked us in didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. The manager at the breakfast area, however, was very friendly. The room was nice and clean, but I have to say the location of the hotel was kind of odd. Plenty of restaurants within the area.

What a great stay!
By ,
The Embassy Suites Hotel at the airport has just undergone a renovation and looks fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay and will absolutely go back. The kids love the indoor pool and the full breakfast was awesome.

Not the best
By ,
I have stayed at Embassy Suites in the past and have been impressed by the facilites. This Embassy Suites does not match up to the rest of the hotel chain. The "renovated" bathroom included moldy tiles. The furnishings looked dated, even though they were new. The lobby was average. A big screw was protruding at the entrance and ripped the hem of my husband's trousers. As a seasoned business traveler, I wouldn't stay there again.
