Microtel Inn Suites Manchester, Manchester

I recently stayed the Microtel Inn & Suites located in Manchester, TN, and this is not the hotel that is in the pictures. The hotel in the pictures is actually the hotel across the street called Country Inn & Suites. The information is for the hotel but the pictures are wrong and the reviews are for the other hotel.....so on with my review of Microtel. I loved the hotel, very clean, nice location, polite staff, secure facility. The staff was very accomodating when I checked in with my family and the young man at the front desk was very polite and welcoming of me to the hotel.

I like Country Inn . I have stayed at several and really like the chain. I was therefore disappointed in this one. Though it had high speed internet access in the room (and nowadays who doesn't) it did not have a business center that had computers and internet available for guests. Upon leaving a group of employees were taking a cigarette break outside the lobby (hold your breath). The town of Manchester offered very little to do. Now for the positives. The rooms were big (king suite). The bed was comfortable, and it was nice to have a sitting area separated from the sleeping area. The shower was great, and the pool was okay (needed cleaning and a dose of chlorine). I am not sure though that the room was worth the rate; a bit over priced.

I'm in a wheelchair. We travel with our small terrier. This hotel really makes you welcome.Rooms are very accessible,clean and nicely outfitted.Much better than the "big" cities to the north and south.Convenient to interstate exit. Best steakhouse in Tennessee just 4 miles away.Hotel breakfast is very good.
