Will never stay there again
By C, 10/04/09
My wife and I stayed at the Knoxvllle, Tennessee location following a UT football game. We checked in before the game and in the room found wallpaper peeling, a filthy bathtub, holes in the shower curtain and mildew on the shower walls and holes in the lamp shades. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The tv controls had duct tape on the back to hold the batteries in. We were willing to overlook these things until we woke up with bug bites on our feet and legs. I asked for a refund of my money and the manger on duty would only refund me $10. She asked why we didnt ask for a different room when we got back from the game. It was 1 in the morning and we were too tired to move everything into another room. I will never stay there again and Monday I will contact the approptiate state agency to report this dump.

A horrible place to stay.
By SeamusT, 06/23/09
The air conditioner and microwave did not work. the curtains were shabby and too short for the window. The shower was filthy and the shower curtain was moldy. the wall paper was peeling off the walls, there was hair and nasty gunked up filth around the water faucets. We complained and did get another room, but it was just as dirty. I can't imagine why the owners of this place tolerate such poor upkeep of the facilities. It's a shame really, as it seems that no one takes pride in their jobs any longer.

Nice Hotel
By nick, 03/03/09
This is a really nice hotel off of I-40 Exit 374. The location is great. It has a lot of restaruants around it and the Turkey Creek Shopping Center. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff is great.

Unsafe, filthy, creepy. Sleep in your car first.
By douglas, 01/04/09
This is the only hotel I checked out of for fear of my safety. We booked this hotel because it was listed as a Days Inn and took pets. What we found was a dimly lit Amerisuites located next to a truck stop. There were sketchy characters everywhere, empty liquor bottles and trash all over the lot, and evidence of drug use and prostitution. The girl at check in actually asked my girlfriend if she wanted to pay cash!! At dinner across the street the waiter told us it was no longer a Days Inn after a guest was murdered two months earlier. Yeah, that did it. We went back to the room, gathered our bags and dog, went to the office and demanded our money back. The clerk checked us out no questions asked, probably because she was used to our reaction, and we bolted with tires screeching. Luckily we found the Howard Johnsons a few miles away and had a much better experience. Please, don't even think of using this place. Days Inn got a nasty letter from me for allowing their name to continue to be associated with such a sleazy and disgusting place.

By LindaK, 08/02/07
My family and I needed a adjoining room to spend one last night with our Grandkids. After five minutes our grandkids feet were so dirty from the carpet! Im surprides they had the audacity to charge us after we showed them how black our feet were.if i would have had a computer and more info I would of changed my accomodations.
