Will not be returning!!!
By ,
Checked in and found a dirty room (carpet dirty, sheets stained, hotel staff exchanging T.V's ) The staff did upgrade us to another room, but again (stains on the pillow case) the bigger room was not my personal concern, but more of cleanliness for my family. I can not coment on other services due to not seeing them or experience any. The location may look rough but I'm sure it's okay. Easy to get to Lookout Mountain and attractions. I just can not recomend it to others, white sheets are suppose to be white and stain free.

Very convenient location, newly remodeled, I enjoyed the exercise room and the business center was a help for checking my email. Breakfast was great with biscuits and gravy and waffles.

Will not be returning!!

I made reservations in Aug. 2006 for weekend of Sept 29 and 30th for room 310, because we spent our honeymoon, in that room, 5 years ago and wanted the same room for anniversary this year. When we got there on the 29th, they had reservations all wrong, saying I had reserved 2 rooms for 2 nights and that room 310 was being renovated. They cancelled that reservation and did us as a walk in and gave us 2 cancel numbers. When I got my credit card bill, it was charged as a no show on 9-27-06- 2 days before we sere scheduled to arrive. When I called to straighten this out, no one would help me. So looks, like I will be paying for it anyway. So, I will not be staying at another Days Inn, in Chattanooga or anywhere, for that matter.

We reserved this room and didnt think it would be this nastey. The hotel is old and run down. The rooms are dirty. staining on the bedding the carpets are grimey and theres a microwave in the room but no where to plug it in !!!! Wont fit in any of the outlets. Remote didnt work I was told to call back later they were too busy for me. The next night I called about it again and was told they would be right there to fix it and never showed up. A cop outside next door walking with a GUN. A BAD neighborhood Took my son for contential breakfast they were out of everything and didnt get more. trash everywhere and didnt pick it up for over 24 hours. I dont advise going. !!!! Stay down the road worth more money other places.

Can you say DISGUSTING!!!!!!
By ,
Rude staff, filthy rooms, holes in the wall, dead bugs on the beds, sofas that sink to the floor....this you will find in just the first five seconds. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! I had four children who were terrified to even get out of the car. Should you be reassured because they "have a security fence and a security guard" I don't think so. There were abanded, boarded up building in front of and behind the location and I wouldn't allow a dog to sleep in those rooms. I was thoroughly alarmed at how deplorable the conditions of the rooms were. Avoid this place like the plague.

It was nothing like the picture
By ,
The hotel was nothing like the picture. It says that you are close to the aquarium and imax theatre. that was true but you are also in not the nicest part of town. I didn't fear for my life but i didn't think i would end up in the hood. The hotel was not in great condition. The outside of the hotel looked like a bad storm came through and messed it up. It was ok for what we paid for it. I would never go to that hotel again. One good thing about the hotel is that it was close to everythign and getting to other tourist attraction was not hard from the hotel.

My gawd, what an awful experience!
By ,
This hotel is in a dangerous part of town. What a dump. Gangs roaming the streets when we got off the interstate. It's completely gated and I understand why. I heard gun shots in the next neighborhood. Looked to be a druggie/thug hang-out as well. Opened my room door, took one step in, then left. What a dump. The area is just complete trash and wasn't even safe enough for me to allow my family to stay there 1 night. Even though we were tired, we got back in the truck and drove on down the road. THANK GOD we had a working vehicle to leave in.

Quite a value!
By ,
We spent two nights at the Days Inn on 20th St. at the Expedia rate of $58. per night. For that price I certainly give it an above average ratting. It is right off I 24 and Market St. (Market goes straight downtown to the Aquarium and Art District.) There's also a Citgo food mart right next door to the Days Inn. 20th St.'s not the best looking section of town but I certainly didn't "fear for my life." The Inn staff was also as helpful as they could possibly be. I would definitely stay there again.
