Top Notch Place to Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/1/09
Virginia the Manager is totally awesome- she treats you like family the moment you walk through the door to check in. The check in process is so stress free and it goes quick- she even asks if you have any questions before you are off to your room. The rooms are SO CLEAN!!! the cleaning staff is really friendly and they do a bang up job on your room. The towels are the whitest I have ever seen and so soft not scratchy like other hotels. The beds are so comfortable!! the first night we slept in they were so comfortable we almost missed the continental breakfeat which is awesome. A varity of breads for toast, hard boiled eggs, awesome-awesome freah baked cinanmon rolls every morning, juices, two cereals, milk, apples and the best coffee. The staff is constantly wiping up and restocking so you never have to wait for anything. Super 8 is the best place to stay-

thought we were adults
By Terry, 7/13/09
We are not big gamblers so we don't stay out to late. We didn't ask, but later found out that the pool closes at 10:30. I know that is a good time for kids, but some adults like to swim or enjoy the hot tub after that time when there are no kids around. The other thing, when getting a room ask for one on the creek side. The traffic starts early in the morning and goes late into the evening. The bike traffic is what you here the most. Even when the rally is not going on. Also, make sure the room is far away from the ice machine. Some reason everyone wants to use it a 6 in the morning. Not good if you want to try and sleep in.

Great place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/10/11
Initially I had my reservations, but found the Super 8 a really enjoyable place to stay. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the food was good, the pool was clean, and the price was great. I didn't like the smokey casio, but that is easily avoided. I plan to stay there again in 2011.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/22/06
i may not be the best person to write a review about this hotel since I normally do not stay in super 8 hotels but yuck, i would not stay in this hotel again. i just felt that the room was dirty, the bathroom was small the bathrooms were small (really small toilet seats). sorry, would not stay here again. the staff at the front desk were friendly, just didn't care about the room. yucky

nice but a bit smokey
By Vicki, 10/18/10
The hotel was your average super 8. you get what you need but not a lot of extras. The breakfast was not good. Very little choice of food. With a casino attached to the hotel, even thought it is in the room attached to the opposite side of the pool it still smelled smokey in my room. The breakfast area is attached to the casino area and was so smokey I didn't stay in there to eat.

Super Clean
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/21/08
We have been to Deadwood yearly for several years and stayed at a place closer to Main Street casinos. We found the Super 8 to be very clean, nice rooms, very friendly staff, great casino and continental breakfast. Though it is farther from the downtown action, you can either take the trolley - or we found it very easy to find parking - either metered or at the downtown parking garage which is in the midst of everything. It is quieter in the middle of the week and probably easier to get around at that time. We will definitely return to the Super 8 next Fall - rates were also great - used my AARP Visa and was given a discount without even asking for one! The pool and hot tub looked great if you are traveling with kids. Again, just super clean and friendly staff. I highly recommend it!!

very enjoyable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/4/08
We were overall very pleased with our stay there. We stayed for three days. The employees were very pleasant and helpful. We hiked on the trail directly behind themotel and it was great. Would recommend to anyone, very clean and the rooms wre recently re-modeled. The rooms aren't spacious, but for the price, very competetive.

Will Defentitly be here again!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/17/09
My finance and i where there at this hotel April 10th and 11th, 2009. We are from Canada and we were so tried once we got there, we just wanted a nice room to stay in and be able to unwind. We walked into our room, and it was beautiful!! The cleaning staff had the fan already turned on and window slightly opened which made the room so nice and fresh! We loved it!! The front desk staff was excellent as well. Hopefully this summer we will be coming back that way and will for sure stay at this hotel!

Great Place to Stay!!!
By GMama, 8/27/09
What a great place. It was a clean hotel, our room was very spacious and updated. The deck outside was so relaxing, you could sit and listen to the stream running through the yard. Even though it is a few minutes from downtown, there is a shuttle that comes to the front door to take you downtown for $1. Totally worth it!! The casino was okay and the pool area looked nice even though I did not have time to use it. Staff was very accomadating and cheerful.
