This laid-back, Legion Lake Lodge sits directly on the waters edge. It is a choice spot for summer picnics, lazy days at the beach, and adventurous treks into the wilderness. The lake is named for the American Legion Post that once leased this land. A variety of comfortable, family-size cabins are nestled in the forest surrounding the lodge. And the Legion Lake Dining Room, and Store provide guests with the best in deli, bakery, and burgers in casual lakeside setting. Here, one can pick up fishing licenses and all the supplies one needs. Fishing, boating, and swimming are at one*s fingertips, when staying at Legion Lake. One can rent a variety of watercraft, from paddleboats to hydro bikes. When the guests have had their fill of water activities, they can rent a mountain bike and begin exploring the forest. The Centennial Trail is right out the back door. For hikers, the hotel recommends the Badger Clark Historic Trail. Badger Clark found this area behind his home particularly inspirational. Property Information by Travelocity |
