The Black Hills of South Dakota is rich with the history and culture of the Old West. Part of that history is the Historic Franklin Hotel & Day Spa in the lively town of Deadwood. The Franklin Hotel had its Grand Opening on 4 June 1903. Unlike most buildings of that era, the Franklin Hotel featured phones, running water, radiant heat and electricity in each room, quite an accomplishment in 1903. The hotel was built in the Greek Revival style. Property Information by Wcities, Inc |
