Wonderful GetAway
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/03/09
A few friends and I chose the Royale Palms as our place to stay during our weekend getaway. The service was splendid from our arrivial to our departure. Our condo was so much like home we did not want to leave. This is by far the best place to stay when visiting Myrtle Beach.

The Royale Palms are the ultimate in luxury for a Myrtle Beach hotel! Granite tops throughout, stainless appliances, tastefully decorated, and very well maintained. It does not feel like being in a hotel/condo at all - very comfortable. We have a 2 year old and she loved the sand bottom pool and lazy river/swimming pools. This place is a great family resort without the "riff-raff" found in a lot of other Myrtle hotels. You will pay for this luxury, but if you can afford it - it's well worth it

Great Place
By Andre V, 07/04/08
This place was nice. It offers great ocean views and great location for the price. The rooms were not bad but some attention to detail would make them better. The hotel staff was friendly and always helpful. The pool area was ok. There are plenty of beach chairs and they have a dj during summer months. The pool it self was a little dirty. The best part of this hotel is the pool side bar The Wet Whistle. The bartenders are fantastic. They make the best drinks, I recommend "the boat drink". We never had to wait long for service even during peak pool hours. They gave great dinner ideas and just seemed to enjoy their job.

Worn out and worn out good
By Islander, 05/03/08
My joined me on a biz trip to MB. Our conference was at the Hilton, so we did not choose this. In summary - disappointed. The room location was awesome, phenomenal, excellet. We were in room XX18, which is closest to the water. We had great views, and at night we left the door open and enjoyed the sound of the surf. The room itself was small and outdated. The tile is old, and as such looks dirty. At first I thought it was just old, but clean. Not sure as our visit progressed. On the second day my wife found a package of condoms in the nightstand drawer. The staff did not replenish the coffee each night. There were dust bunnies in the corner of the rooms. You get the idea. The public areas are well kept and look nice. Most of the staff was very friendly. The lady at the coffee shop was only the exception. I would say she did not enjoy her job, and it showed. The food was ok, but pricey for an average quality. Drive off property and find some good local fare. If you decide to stay here, be forewarned. I heard that they have a refurb planned for the near future. They make it look nicer, but they can't do much to make it bigger.

Oustanding trip.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/08/08
My daughter, mother and I had the pleasure of staying at the Royale Palms'Condo in January of this year(2008). Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed ourselves. Oh! We are already making plans to return in the month of March. This time we plan to stay longer. From the front desk until we checked out, everyone was very nice. We have been on many vacations, but this one was the "CHERRY" on top. We are still in 'awe' about our stay. Thank you so much, Royale Palms.

Royale Palms/Hilton Myrtle Beach SC
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/02/07
The Royale Palms Resort was absolutely fantastic. The condo was gorgeous and spacious. The service and staff were friendly and kind. Our 4 children had a blast at all of the pools and didn't even mind the walk over to the Splash pool. We loved the sand bottom pool, the deck bar/dining with pool side service and the access to the beach. We used the full kitchen a lot since the kids never wanted to get out of the pools/beach to go out to eat. I don't think we will ever stay at any other resort in Myrtle again. We will definitely stay at either the Royale Palms, Brighton Tower or Margate. I have heard complaints about the Hilton Hotel itself, but with our large family, we would never consider it anyway. We were sad to leave. We still think about our stay and miss it and can't wait to go back.

Very disapointed won't go back.
By cindy, 10/11/07
Grounds and pool area are very nice. Room was a big disappointment, small bathroom, step out of tub and commode is there, tub faucet came off in my hand and both tub and sink did not drain. Out deluxe oceanfront room was over the air conditioning for the entire resort so the noise was deafening when you tried to sit on the balcony. The curtains had holes. The breakfast was so bad that we did not even try to go there for dinner. The pastries in the coffee shop that closed at 2 everyday were store bought and wrapped in saran wrap. Hiton will not be in any of our future travel plans.

Best Vacation!
By Carl, 09/10/07
My family and I stayed at the Royale Palms this past August, and what an amazing time we had. We were just steps from the beach, had access to numerous swimming pools on the Hilton resort, and were in proximity to many of the attractions that Myrtle Beach had to offer. We ordered room service one night, but if that's not in your budget, there are many affordable places to eat with the entire family that won't put too bad of a dent in your wallet. I highly recommend this lpace to anyone - clean, the people were courteous, it was quiet and very well secured - excellent. For all we received in amenities, the price wasn't too bad either. We will be back next year.
