BE OBSERVANT OF EXTRA COSTS!!

My spouse and I had planned a weekend getaway (Thursday-Sunday) to Charleston Place Hotel. Upon arriving on Thursday night we were told that they showed no reservations for our arrival. Once we gave our confirmation number we were able to check in but into an incorrect room. We were later told that no rooms are guaranteed for the type of room you book. The next morning upon checking my account on the internet (NO WIRELESS!!) we were surprised to see an extra $1000 in charges. We asked the staff about this on Friday, and were told these charges should be dropped. On Saturday, after a day downtown we returned to find out they had checked us out a day early!! (which on Sunday I witnessed 4 other guests who had been checked out early as well) After an hour, the staff finally realized this was by mistake and allowed us back into our room. After getting back into our room, we realized not only were there $1000 in charges, but an extra $50. We go back to talk to the staff, and they said this was inadvertent as well. Upon awaking Sunday morning our check out paper showed we owed $200 more dollars. So at this point we are charged an extra $1250. We talked to staff again (when walking to the front desk we were prompted with "What now?"), and they told us we didn't owe this and were OK to check out. Upon trying to check out we were told we only paid for 2 nights and we had to pay for the 3rd night. Reminder you, we are still charged over $1250 too much. Upon, another hour and a half of talking with the staff, they once again admitted error and we were allowed to leave. We never received 1 apology during ANY of our daily conversations with the staff. The staff also refused to let us talk with a manager or general manager. The concierge we later learned is good if you are a single female looking for a date, otherwise he will not be much help. 4 star hotel with 2 star service! Don't be fooled by the other reviews like we were.
