Best Western Sea Island Inn, Beaufort

We were in town to go to Parris Island (which this hotel gives a discount for)for our son's USMC graduation. The hotel is located in an excellent spot. Very close(like 2 blocks) to shopping, restaurants, and the bay. Awesome view too. We were very pleased with the cleanliness, and the accomodations. The continental breakfast left a little to be desired. Since we had to leave the hotel before 6am we missed a lot of what they offer.They have hot food at 7am from what I understood, but we missed it. Parris Island is very easy to get to. There are also a couple USMC stores for all your Graduation needs within a few miles. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

We love Beaufort and we have stayed in many of the B&Bs. However, this time we chose the Best Western Sea Island Inn and it was awesome! Great folks, remodeled room, great location, and nice hot breakfast! We will stay there on our next visit too - best deal in town.

It was great! The hotel was in a nice location. You can walk to shops and restaurants in minutes. There is also a historical church and graveyard nearby, you can walk to that too. My aunt is 45 and i am 14, we both had the best time here. There is a boardwalk with swings you can walk to, it's very relaxing and great for couples! I absolutely recommend this spot. People are very friendly, great food. _except the Panini's-it's expensive and we did not have the best food. Go for the smaller restaurants. There is also a great really cute ice cream parlor...old fashion. I loved it! But be careful..you might love it so much you want to live there! We went there last year, and we are about to leave again tomorrow!

The location to Paris Island is what drew us to this hotel. The area was very nice and the desk was informative of the area and night life.The room was clean and comfortable.

Clean and quiet - quick check in and check out. Location was wonderful with beautiful views. Historic houses and wonderful shops within easy walking distance. Short distance to Parris Island for Marine Corps graduation. Would go back again.

We came into Beufort for the afternoon and overnight without a reservation. We got the last room in the hotel that was available and we were very satisfied with our stay. You can tell the rooms are older but everything was very clean, beds were comfortable and the staff friendly. The two best things about this hotel was the awesome complimentary breakfast with lots of variety....and the best of all was the location. Just a few steps and you were right in the middle of historic downtown and right across the street from the waterfront park. I would definitely stay here again!

Basic, but clean room, adequate facilities. Good morning breakfast, pleasant helpful staff. We stayed during a heat/humidity wave, the air conditioning worked well. Convenient morning breakfast, great location with beautiful views. We would definitely stay again.

Well, my MIL booked it for everyone (a "family trip"-everyone & grandkids) and they miss-quoted her on room prices, we had to pay more money. They also didn't have a crib for our use (go thing i brough tthe playard, just in case!) Our room was about $130, They wouldn't even let us check in until 3PM & check out was at 11am. So the room were freezing when we walked in, sort of dusty & lysol smelling room that look like it was a flash back from the 70s. Our frig didn't work, and they knew it before checking us in, just let us discover it on our own, and all they offered us was some ice! Bed was hard as a rock, I probally would have been as comfortable on the floor. The towels were stiff, the water from the faucets were YELLOW! There was so much clorine in the pool you could smell it before you got in & it really burned the kids eyes. Trash in the parking lot & they are small & hard to even get in&out of. The front desk was little help for helping us with directions. The ONLY thing good I could say about the place was it ias walking distance to the water, the sheets were clean (but stiff too) and the breakfast wasn't too bad & had good variety & fresh fruits. The cook was the ONLY nice staff member I dealt with. I would have saved money by staying in a motel 6 or other cheaper hotel & had same quality room & service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO FAMILIES AT ALL!

Checked in to find the TV broken and the room extremely hot. Air conditioner pumped out very little cold air..but made enough noise to keep you from getting a good nights rest. I'm sure it beats sleeping on the boat at the marina just across the street. But it could use some attention to detail.
