The Lobby is deceiving!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/17/06
The hotel, which shouldn't have been called that, was more like a motel with a lobby attached to it (the words of another review that I should have taken to heart)! Check-in was not great, because they didn't have our reservations in the system. However, they did get us the two rooms that we asked for. Once in the room, the phone was unhooked, the alarm clock did not work and the shower was non-existent! The faucet was nothing more than a rusty knub sticking out of the wall! We changed rooms finally, however, most of the people we were with had problems with the smell of the rooms and/or the air conditioners did not work. The jacuzzi was green and the bathrooms were mildewed. There was only one trash can in each room and in both rooms, the electrical sockets near the tables did not work. The only good thing about this "Inn" was the lobby! The breakfast was good and the front desk staff was courteous and expeditious about our needs, however, the rooms were not very clean! Overall, I would definitely not go back to this "hotel".
