prejudice staff/manager

I went to this Comfort Inn a few months ago. I am a professional man who happens not to be white. On the weekends, I don't think it's necessary to wear a business shirt and slacks to get respect, a sweatshirt and jeans should suffice. Well, I feel that the staff of this Best Western judged me on my clothing alone, and gave me an awful tiny room when they said on the phone that they had plenty of King bed rooms. As I arrived to my room and there were two small beds and the room smelled bad. I called the front desk and they now told me that they don't have many options, but after I demanded a better room, they moved me. I shouldn't have to demand good service, or expect anything better than the best available option.
After I was moved to another room, the remote control didn't work, and they took about half an hour to bring a new one. The front desk Manager was rude in his customer service. The rest of the staff was pretty nice though.
