Average hotel
By Bernice, 06/04/08
The hotel was nice but overpriced. We paid $174.00 plus for a night stay. I didn’t have to pay that much for a stay at a five star hotel in my entire life. Otherwise the location was great and easy to find. Service was okay… breakfast was okay.

Just OK
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/27/08
Our room was at the end of a hallway. The corners between our door and the hallway window were loaded with huge cobwebs. Our room was obviously not vacuumed. We stayed two days and the chambermaids didn't show up to do our room on either day. Needless to say, I had to seek them out for clean towels, kleenex, and toilet paper. On the up side, the breakfast was good and there is a Ground Round accessible through the hotel lobby which offered free meals to children. The elevators were freezing and they reeked of cigarette smoke.

Nice and clean, but pricey
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/12/07
A nice, clean average hotel. Location is good, right off the highway, but pricing is a little too much for that location and room size.

prejudice staff/manager
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/26/07
I went to this Comfort Inn a few months ago. I am a professional man who happens not to be white. On the weekends, I don't think it's necessary to wear a business shirt and slacks to get respect, a sweatshirt and jeans should suffice. Well, I feel that the staff of this Best Western judged me on my clothing alone, and gave me an awful tiny room when they said on the phone that they had plenty of King bed rooms. As I arrived to my room and there were two small beds and the room smelled bad. I called the front desk and they now told me that they don't have many options, but after I demanded a better room, they moved me. I shouldn't have to demand good service, or expect anything better than the best available option. After I was moved to another room, the remote control didn't work, and they took about half an hour to bring a new one. The front desk Manager was rude in his customer service. The rest of the staff was pretty nice though.

Not bad for a 2 star hotel.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/27/06
They price is good and the rooms clean. My trip was for business and the hotel was a great location. If I am in town for a day - it's great. If Im im in town longer is not for me. I need internet connection that works. The wireless internet connection is below poor. For that reason I don't stay at the hotel for more then a day. As for the contineal breakfast. I have had A LOT better.

A pleasant surprise
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/31/06
I stayed at the property last summer during the contruction and was anxious to see the end result. I was pleasantly surprised when my family and I checked in last week and found a beautiful lobby, clean and inviting. The staff was very friendly as usual. Our room was clean and we had plenty of space for all our belonging. We especially enjoyed the new indoor heated pool and excercise area. This property will remain our first choice in the Providence Rhode Island area.

Not Very Good
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/27/05
My kids love going to hotels with a pool. They had told us they had a pool, but they DIDN'T. The continental breakfast was only average. One morning, though, it was held not in its usual room but in the cramped lobby, due to a conference in its usual place. There was extremely limited selection and no space to eat. Nobody said sorry for our inconveniance; indeed, the whole staff seemed rather surly. The rooms were comfortable and quiet but not exceptionally clean. Our showerhead didn't work. The hotel was about 10-15 minutes away from downtown Providence, which was more than we had expected. I wouldn't reccomend the Comfort Inn Provience.
