Pretty Nice Hotel...
My friends and I stayed here in April of this year for a youth convention. Previously we had stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, and we wanted to try a different hotel this year. Because we booked it through the youth convention people, we got a big discount (only about $60 a night). Our room wasn't bad, but we had requested two beds (there were three people). Instead of giving us a room with two beds, they gave us a room with one bed, and a fold-out couch that they turned into a bed. Thankfully, I didn't have to sleep on it. The cable was okay, and we were intending on watching DVD's and playing our PS2, but there wasn't a hook-up for the PS2 on the TV, so we were stuck watching what was on the TV. The pool and sauna was the best part. The pool is beautiful. It is big, and connects to the out-door pool. There is also a hot tub right next to the pool that my friends and I used frequently. We only used the sauna once before it unfortunantly broke. For some reason it was never fixed before we left. Apparently this hotel is popular with other youth groups in the area. There were so many people on each floor, and each floor it seemed to be quite chaotic with groups handing out keys and standing in the hallway and stuff like that. The staff was great. Our room didn't have a remote for the TV, so we called down to the desk and they had a worker up to our room with a remote in about two minutes. There was a safe in the room, and a bottle of natural springs water. Unfortunantly, we didn't realize that if we opened the water, an additional $3.00 would be added to our bill - it was added. The rooms overlook the outdoor pool and a beautiful garden setting. The hotel is big, and there is an Eat N' Park, and a Waffle House right across the road. This hotel is a great hotel, with only minor problems.
