Ramada Hotel & Conference Center, York

I only stated here cause they had a pool, then i get there, and they fail to tell me before i check in, that the pool would be under repairs for the two days i was scheduled to be there. thanks for the heads up on a 100 degree day. On top of it all, nobdy knew anything about what was going on..first they said it would be open in the evening, then they said it was closed for two days.. then we get to watch the guys fixing the pool sit around and get drunk. it was so pleasant(sarcasm note)

I was in town for a softball tournament and the front desk came to my room and told me that I checked out that am, I informed the man that I did not and he kept asking are you sure. I think I know if I checked out. Then I had a women at the front desk ask the same question because they gave my room to someone else, and, also housekeeping told them my room was cleaned out. All our suitcases were still in the room. Thought it was resolved they both said I was put back in the system. Later that evening I left with my child for 30 min I came back was unable to get in my room. A nice couple just walked by and told me that they were just in my room as the front desk gave my room away for the second time in one day. I can only be thankful that this couple was honest or I could have been robbed as i had a garman, DVD player, money and also expensive softball glove and equipment. When I went to the front desk to get my card reactivated it was the same man that I talked to earlier in the day. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Pay the extra $10 a night and stay at the other Holiday Inn in York. We thought we were getting a bargain...our tub didn't work, we had to change rooms in the middle of the night, never a manager around when you need one...and get this...they would not bring us room service because the staff said, before I could even finish ordering, "You expect me to walk to your room in the rain and snow to bring you deserts?" WHAT NERVE!!!! Yeah I expect it, we pay for it...ugh...never again! PS...The stench of smoke was disgusting too..
