The good, the bad and the horrible...

We booked a hotel at the last minute and this was one of the few places available on the nights we selected. The staff was courteous, room and bath were clean and the continental breakfast was decent. Those are the nicest things I can say. The air-conditioning unit blew cold air right at the bed. There was no escaping it. We finally propped the ironing board against the unit to deflect the frigid breeze. The pillows were flat. When we called the front desk and asked for a couple extras, we were told there were no more. The mattress has seen better days. The fan was turned off in the only elevator to serve about 100+ rooms and it was noticeably stuffy. There was no ice machine on our floor. As noted by another customer, The Red Tomato Restuarant was not in business. We were disappointed with the whole experience.
