5 reviews for Tu Tu Tun Lodge, Gold Beach
TU TU TUN Awesome
By Kim, 05/25/09
Kyle, Terry and everyone were fantastic. We stayed in the bacon riffle room with a fireplace. It was very romantic and the food was great! Love to go back again. I would recommend it to couples looking for a quiet getaway to enjoy nature and long hikes. Not a place to party and get loud.

One of the best places for romance
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/28/08
The room was beautiful was given extra special care to detail. It was very peaceful and all the stress of the workweek just melted away in the first hour there. The area was serene and lovely. I would highly reccomend this place to everyone I know. The bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby, which is unusual for me. Very romantic for my husband and I. Soaking tub was wonderful and clean. Awesome experience.

A wonderful place for peace and pampering
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/07
This lodge is in a very attractive rustic setting on the north bank of the Rogue River, about eight miles in from the Pacific coast. The facilities are all first class, and everything about it is designed to give the guest whatever will make the experience more enjoyable. It is a can-do place, without the restraints and rules often forced on guests by lodges. There are many river-related activities at Tu Tu Tun, but our favorite is doing nothing. We have been there twice and expect to go back again. Paul Janicke Houston, TX

So relaxed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/30/05
My wife and I visited in early June 2005. We spent 5 days and are so glad we did. From the minute we arrived, every staff member knew our name and greeted us enthusiastically. My wallet never left my back pocket the entire stay. Good food, but be sure you enjoy adventurous meals as the cuisine can be quite unique. Don't miss out on the popovers! I was most impressed with how far the staff will go to handle every guest wish. They found a fishing guide for me on very short notice, supplied me with a fishing license at the last minute, gave me 2 thermos of coffee and packed a lunch before I went out on the river. Never have we had such a relaxed vacation. Can't wait to visit again. Be sure to spend at least two nights, preferably 3 or more, to truly appeciate what this small lodge has to offer. Definately one of the top small resorts in the country.

Why people make the difference
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/28/05
Great place, fantastic location and activities. However, front desk and management service was awful. I will never go back.
