Hotel Lucia, Portland

I had high hopes for my stay and at the price expected more. I was treated pretty badly by the staff which had no one over 25. They just seemed to have attitudes that would be found in L.A., condesending. The room was so small, it was good that I was by myself. The bed took up most of the room! The decor in the photos looks cool, but when you see it..it's just trying to hard to be cool.

I was expecting much more from what I had read about this hotel. Nice decor, yes, but the room I got was very small, with a tiny bathroom. I had problems to move around, which is a first. The furniture was a little bit dusty too. Dont think I will be back anytime soon.

The rooms are very small and dark - not enough light. The courtyard rooms have a dreadful view. A friend stayed in a double room with the smallest bathroom I have ever seen...it was truly a joke! On the bright side, the staff was friendly and very attentive. Bottom line, would not go back.

We orginally had resevations at another hotel up the street from them and after one night decided it was not the hotel for us. Hotel Lucia went above and beyond to make our visit to Portland an excellent one! Service was amazing. Dinner resevations were delightful! thank you Lucia!

Portland is one of our favorite cities. Despite the sometimes crummy weather, it's a fun place to hang out and shop. The Hotel Lucia puts you right in the middle of all the action. You're only blocks from Pioneer Square, the Pearl District, and the Waterfront. The hotel has comfy beds, a selection of pillows, and an attentive, but young staff. The bar downstairs is awesome with a well-educated bartender who loves to chat about all the spirits he offers in this fun establishment. Room service is quick and the food is good. The only complaint is that they still charge for wireless service. Otherwise, this hotel comes highly recommended!

Hotel Lucia IS the best hotel in Portland. I have been traveling to Portland for years, and I continue to stay at Hotel Lucia. It is a very cozy hotel located in the heart of downtown. It's close to everything!! For the most part you can walk, or take the MAX (light rail that is free downtown). The rooms and service are impeccable every time I stay. The beds are SO comfy!! The staff is ready to get you anything you need (They got me a razor at 11pm on my last trip). I highly recommend this to Portland travelers.

The service was prentious for a place with no lounge, makeshift bathrooms, and insipid art. The worst part was the rooms. Amazingly small! Location was good.

Love the whole experience - the staff was amazing and accomodating. They were always willing to go the extra mile for us. We'll definitely stay at Hotel Lucia again...

The View is great If It's not Raining ! It always rains in portland. A great central place to begin to explore the srounding area. Portland has great shops, wonderful dining. don't miss the new old town or 21st ave/

i loved the view of the mountain. im from down south and to just look out the window and see something beautiful as that is amazing. the service was excellent and the room it self was superb
