Motel 6 McMinnville, McMinnville

I noticed nobody has written lately about this property. I found the freshly renovatted eco-friendly rooms a very nice suprise. Clean, streamline pheonix design was awsome. no clutter and plenty of space. Customer service exceeded all expectations. I found it to be one of the best values in motel accomodations that I have ever found. I highly recommend this property to anyone on a budget who wants outstanding customer service and good nights rest.

First, we found it in the Motel 6 directory as new location. Called hotel as we couldn't find it and was told to look for Paragon. Location was next to Best Western just outside main part of town. Hotel was doing much needed renovation as it was tacky at best. Room was ok but staff was rude. We were asked to leave $10 deposit for key as we paid cash which was to be returned next morning. The man behind the desk argued with my husband that it was the pet fee but we had paid that already. Finally, after my husband threatened to call police, he gave him the $10. Hopefully when Motel 6 actually takes over they will have finished work and replaced the staff. For now, stay away. It had no extra amenities like pool or breakfast so not worth the price.

I noticed upon checking into this motel that it now had "new management". As I waited my turn in the lobby and I could hear some kind of hollaring coming from a back room next to the office. The nice girl (Kristy?) smiled and continued to get me checked in. I have to say this made me very uncomfortable to be stuck listening to people scream at one another. I fould out later the screaming was actually being done by the new management/owners! Wow, how unprofessional is that? Think I'll stay somewhere else next time.
