This place sucks
By PatMan, 10/10/09
My wife and I pulled into Lincoln city late and just wanted a room, we were assured by the clerk that the rooms were nice so we booked one. What a joke!! we would have left but we were to tired to move on, I have never stayed in a dirtier room in my life. Both of us were afraid to take our shoes off because we swear the carpet was crawling and the stench was terrible. We complained in the morning but the desk clerk really couldn't have cared less. I have lodged a formal complaint with the corporate office so we will see what happens.

My wife and I have travelled extensivly...we understand cheap...but, my gawd!! No elevator, no a/c...told to open window...bathrooms were tiny and very uncomfortable...no coffee pot, hair dryer....breakfast was white bread for toasting and muffins cut into quarters!!! Way to go!!!!!!!!
By james, 03/09/07
I found this motel by accident. I was traveling thru Lincoln City from Portland, looking for a quiet place to stop for the night. I saw this sign for Econo Lodge. I had stopped at others but not found what I wanted. When I arrived, the staff was friendly, the location was pretty good so I decided to stay hoping that it was a quiet motel. I was surprised by fairly new furniture, quiet hallways and rooms. We would stay there again. Thanks for the room

will never rent from again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/23/06
I think this has been my worst experience ever staying in a motel. The entire motel has a horrible stench, the rooms are small and weren't clean. The service matched the stench of the motel. I would not recommend this motel to anyone; I'd sooner sleep in my car!

Worse experience
By MandyN, 10/27/06
I rented a room last month and was horribly disappointed. First I was told the room was wheelchair accessible, however it was so small I could barely maneuver the chair once I finally managed to get into the room. The room smelled terrible, the walls might as well not have been there for how well I could hear my neighbors and the bathroom was so small you have to leave the door open while you're using the toilet. To top of the horrible experience the motel has now charged my credit card over $1700 saying they have been unable to rent the room. I left the room in the same condition as I rented it. Be careful if you rent a room from Econo Lodge unless you're willing to take the chance of finding exuberant charges to your credit card.

Awful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/06
The towels are about as thick as a piece of onion skin, as are the walls You can hear your "neighbors" as if they are in the same room with you, no kidding. Bathrooms are SUPER small, shower head didn't put out enough pressure. There is no coffee maker, coffee, etc. No hair dryers, iron, etc. No elevators so plan to hike up some steps with all your luggage if on the third floor, which is smoking and non-smoking, by the way. All for 119.00 for two people, one bed. The only hotel in town where you will find a room, though, and now we know why. We'll sleep out on the pavement before we ever sleep in another "E. Lodge."

Great Inexpensive Motel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/10/04
I am handicapped and have always been treated with the upmost respect when visiting this motel. We like to visit the Chinook Winds Casino, and always stay here. They have always found a room on the ground floor, usually non-smoking. As I remeber they only allow smoking on the third floor.
The mangement is friendly and very accomodating
